Oh man, I miss the late 90s. It was the pinnacle of my childhood (I was 8 years old). The boom of the dot-com bubble, we still had big boxy computers with CRT monitors, 1-800-COLLECT, cool cars, and weird shows. A lot of these commercials were fun to watch.
This is incredible I graduated high school in 99 in Canada and every single one of these commercials took me back. Never had one of your videos hit me this hard. Remember so many of these commercials playing on much music back in the day
03:00 a 6.4gb hard drive, a 400mhz processor and 64k ram. Wow. I remember when that was a bad ass computer. Ho far we have come is amazing. And Tom Green in the beginning was so young!!!!!!!
4 degrees of separation from this Generation all in one motion: Getting "paged" and using "change", on a "payphone" to call someone on a "landline." Good Lord...it was our teens and ancient history.
Look who's back! You've been missed man! Hope all is well and happy New Year! Glad to have a brand new up for the new year. Never not going to want to live in the 90s again. Always takes me back. 98 was a good year. Because things were still not too crazy for us. But technology was just beginning to move.
I am *SO* glad Tom Green stopped being a thing. I vaguely remember that Sprite commercial. Just a hunch, but I'm going to assume Canadians don't spontaneously burst out into impromptu games of street hockey anytime something puck-sized gets hit with a stick. Holy crap, it just came back to me that there was a point where it seemed like there was a Bowflex ad *every single* commercial break, I got so sick of it. Am I the only one who started to wonder who does take American Express because they saw those Visa ads all the time?
LOL, I remember the Sprite commercial with the actors complaining. It's funny how some commercials you don't see them for years and they trigger a memory when you see it again.
I can’t say that I don’t check my subscriptions, just about ever other day for a post from you Dave😜. Super stocked to see you dropped a video recently. I imagine this channel (expectations of others) might be a difficult burden to keep up with. You are doing such a great job...Looking forward the next live show. I always try to make it. STAY MINT!!
Thanks you sir! After being bogged down with some work projects, I took an extra couple weeks off for some family time and R&R. I'm happy to say that I'm back in full production mode! HOpe to see you tomorrow night on the live stream.
I think you're mistaken that was the legendary Canadian comedy brothers Bob & Doug McKenzie!! For this travesty you must go fetch me a case of Molson Golden eh!!!
First of all happy new year dave and I was either 14 or 15 years old living in Glendale queens nyc with my mom and my brother and it was my final year at ps 177q in fresh meadows queens nyc
@Dominoit slowly started in the 90's(just look at the MS ad trying to push woke global warming BS to kids) but it accelerated 1million% after 9/11, and it's never been the same snice.
I miss the late 90s! That weird, adolescent version of the internet, the cars, bulky computers, the whimsical nature in our advertisements...

These commercials seemed more fun and less serious than today. Thanks for the fun trip to the past!
