I share the same sentiment with a lot of the comments about the 90s growing up. Because it reminds me of transition from elementary to middle school. When times were simpler despite its problems. And we werent being invaded with too much technology. You could go outside and hold conversations with friends until the street light cut on. Thanks as always Dave.
I loved Duracell powercheck. And the UPN. Not childhood for me, but my 30s. I can see the bridging between older-style commercials and today’s commercials. Great collection!
ST Deep Space Nine followed by Babylon 5..wish my local UPN station wouldve had that line up Star Trek First Contact-"..the line must be drawn HERE!!!"😄
The commercial line-up starting with the Ford Escort is for the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Trials and Tribble-ations. My recording of that episode has the same exact line-up after the intro.
Oh man, at quick glance I thought that "Jack" from Jack in the Box on the thumbnail was "Mr. Bill" from Saturday Night Live! Great Pizza Hut commercial, I never saw that before! Now I've got a hankering for a hunk of cheese...on a large pizza pie!
Dave, I am 52 years old and grew up in the Seattle area. There was a catch phrase I lova , lova , lova you! I cannot remember what product it was from but I have searched everywhere trying to find out where it came from. My brother and sister remember it too but we just can't solve the problem! If you know anything or what product it was I would be so happy! Thank you!
I was going to comment again on that awesome Excite search commerical from the OG upload, but it looks like the YT police got ya Dave, still a banger upload as always, and don't let them get ya down 👍
Holy hell it's Malarkey from Band of Brothers! "Oh that dog just ain't gonna hunt! You cut that fence and get this God damn platoon on the move!" 04:00 👀
I'm not defending Bill here if all the things did were true, but the more time goes on, and the more I've read/watched about it all, it does make me wonder why at least some of the women kept on going back to him if they had all that happen to them, and why did they wait so long to say anything about it? 🤔
@@MusicFromAnotherTime I 100% disagree with them having the gall to make the laughing joking numbnuts of a politician Stacy Abrams "President of Earth"(I live just across the river from Augusta Georgia, and see all her political BS on local TV like winning the Dem primary when no one runs against her, and she calls it a hard fought race 🤦♂️), and then they tried to turn the whole January 6th ordeal into a civil war plotline 😂😂😂 nothing but a 🤡🌍 Hollyweird crap fest.
Real Stories of the Highway Patrol came on before or Star Trek TNG. I wold fall asleep with that chan on at my dads because we only had antenna but it had enough good shows on it I didn't mind. Edit: Looks like I wouldn't have been playing the game at 1:12
@12:27 Saturn should've stayed. If so, they could've been the first US based Electric car company. Only If GM was forward thinking though. @14:09 LOL, and you'd think this was some Pharmaceutical company in the beginning, but wait. It was a Lincoln Town Car commercial.
Tombstone had rising crust? What happened to that? Those late 90s web pages were so ugly. I remember Mentadent. That pump thing got annoying. I swear one side would run out of toothpaste faster than the other, somehow. Of course Bill Cosby wouldn't be interested in that woman, she's still conscious.
I remember the rising crust Tomb Stone pizza, and it was not that great to be honest, their thin pizzas are way better. I don't remember Mentadent, as growing up my family was a crest/colgate family till we learned the dangers of fluoride in the early 00's(caused one of front teeth to rott from the inside out, and had to be pulled several years back, and I now have a false tooth from it), and switched to more natural brands like Tom's, and later on Hello. Far as my take on Bill Cosby(no I'm not defending him), it does make wonder with some of the ladies if they had all the stuff happen to them, then why did they keep going back to see him, and then wait so long to say anything about it? 🤔 Lastly I honestly miss a lot of the 90's web 1.0, as we lost a of stuff like Angel Fire, AOL Chats/messenger, Yahoo Chats/messner, Lycos, chats/messenger, Lycos search(the original version, not the current one), etc., and despite the limits of 90's tech, I feel the web was more open, and free by not being so heavily regulated, and controlled as it is now(by governments, and a handful of massive corporations), plus it was more special for those of us who were on it, by everyone not having a phone in our pockets 24/7 that can access the web when we want, and where even a $30 Android GO phone is more powerful than just about any desktop PC you could buy, or build in the 90's, or early - mid 00's for that matter.

The last years of innocence, Agree in every way.
The good ol' 90s. The mid 90s, the starting of the pinnacle of my childhood. Thanks again for the retro goodness, Dave.
The human brain is a mysterious thing. I forgot about all of these commercials. But now that I'm seeing them again, I remember them perfectly

I appreciate these uploads..I yearn to go back to being a kid in 90's and having no worries..no bills lol 😆 thank you Dave!!
Rock on!
Never a dull moment at Dave’s Archives 🎉 ✌️📼🧈

@James I remember AOL chat rooms, you could mess with people all day long

@James christ that’s terrible. Lots of women out there bro. Go get another and a few more to spare
How did I not remember that Chris Rock voiced Little Penny? I used to love those commercials! As a huge Basketball fan, I’m ashamed of myself.

Another great compilation even if we had to do without Hendrix. See ya tomorrow night, Dave!
I wish I could go back. Not that these don't take me back, I wish I could just go back and stay.

Man, remember back in the day when a movie wouldn't come out on tape for 6 months to a year after it was in movies?
Subscribed!! 🎉
These remind me of not having real problems lol
I really need an all Star Trek commercial compilation.
I agree anything Enterprise, and before as it was the last good Star Trek, all the modern ones have been turned to current day Hollyweird garbage!!
@@CommodoreFan64 Strange New Worlds is actually pretty refreshing.

Star Trek: First Contact!!! (Not to mention DS9… and Voyager!!) ☺️🖖🏼❤️
It's time it's time its Dave archives time
I forgot there was a time Pop Tarts came six to a box instead of eight.
Is that Robert Iler (A.J. on The Sopranos) at 6:19?
I’ve seen this channel in many retro commercials before what does UPN mean? And is this still around? I’ve always wondered!
UPN stood for United Paramount Network
There are two type of people who answer questions.
@@hashpling I know right well one answer my question and the other gave me a history so best of both worlds

Goddamnit I hate inflation 12 grand for a new car
4:12 is that Endless Mike from Pete and Pete?
Jean Luc, BLOW UP THE DAMN SHIP!!

4:03 Endless Mike!!!

Man the toys in happy meals now totally suck.. I wonder if that channel surfing game still exists
Hot Wheels (1969) Episode 15 with 1970s Commercials (Saturday Morning Special)

How do you rid yourself of that pesky extra half hour?
I do it with Dave's Archives, Every Time !
Time well spent for Good Mental Health (endorphines)
lol indeed!
The 90s Dodge Dokota took me out wow
Wow. The whole price of the ford escort is what some dealerships so as a down payment now. 😢
Tombstone had rising crust? What happened to that?

There was a show called Mr and Mrs Smith? Does that mean the movie of the same name was based off the show?
Wonderful 90s commercials really classic from ABC to NBC to CBS to Fox to UPN (Now: The CW)
Do you basically get copyright strikes on every vid due to the music?
I do not trust Endless Mike delivering pizza.
No business has fell from Grace such as Burlington Coat Factory
Cadillac
Hey Dave send you two boxes tomorrow ok please comment back…
Thanks Yosef!!!
First!
Was that Sam Rockwell as the pizza delivery guy?
@James oh yeah! Thanks
Can I get a "f .k the '90s!"
