@@Spycrafty Same, and I've been playing N64 games on OG hardware on my early 00's Panasonic CRT. Screw paying Nintendo $50 a year to play games I already own, and they can't even emulate properly.
There's a comforting, warm and optimistic feeling about 90s commercials that just cant be replicated. Not even with today's technology. Because the spirit isnt there
6:44 To quote Denis Leary: "When I was a kid, Dunkin' Donuts had two things, coffee and donuts, and that was it. You took the donut, you dunked it in the coffee, thus the fuckin' title of the place!"
Yikes, these Commercials are super new and I'm super old I guess, doesn't feel like it though:) Thank you Dave, for great memories, and at times not so much.
Thanks for the retro! The mouse weirded me out a bit a little, but appreciated all the same. You even got some x-files in... That's kinda spooky cheers - Z
Were all late 90s Snapple ads that weird? I don't remember that, but I certainly remember that's when beer commercials started to get monumentally stupid. 8:52 - 9:20 I've probably heard that particular voice-over guy thousands of times in my life, but that's the first time I've ever seen his face. Jesus, I heard so much Brian McKnight thanks to my mom. Speaking of music I heard too much, if these are '97 commercials, then this is two years before Genie In A Bottle would come out and my sister would torture me by listening to it 900 times a day.
Yeah, well, as I had mentioned in another reply, it was about 1999 on when things really went to shit in the US... 2001 was the catalyst though I think...
1998 was a good year for me... My man, NASCAR driver of the black #3 GM Goodwrench Plus Chevrolet, Dale Earnhardt Sr. After "20 years of trying, and 20years of hardships, has finally won the Daytona 500"... I'm a die-hard NASCAR fan and a die-hard Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan, so yeah, '98 was a special year for me... As for those commercials, they were pretty good for the '90s... They really tried to hold on desperately to the '80s vibe untill about 1999... Then things kinda started going to shit in the US... It all went downhill from there I think though after 2001 though... You don't see TV programming like this much anymore... Nice video... Anyway, I'm going to hop back in my time machine and go back somewhere in past... Take care and God bless...
I feel like these are even more satisfying to watch on an old tube tv
Those VW Beetle commericals just felt so late 90's/early 00's Apple iMac esq.
Thanks for the video Dave. As an earlier 90's child these late 90's videos are always my favorite!
man I forgot about those vw beetle ads... man and only recently they finally retired it! so nice to have those ads up on youtube!
Man, cellphones were HUGE back then. I remember free nights and weekends on my old phone: not like I had anyone to call though 😂
Here from Romania! I love the 80,s and the 90,s TV shows!!
This is great timing I've been feeling nostalgic lately

Okay.
90's nostalgia at it's finest!

Yep nothing but gloom and despair these day's. Mostly perpetuated by our government & news media.
@@kylemoore801 True indeed. There's no true spirit of love and hope. Just constant fear and despair.
It's really sad, because it ain't gotta be like that, ya know?
@@therayven3147 Yep it sure doesn't have to be. I 100% agree with you there.
Man I miss my childhood 😭

True dat. Now they just call themselves Dunkin'. Which is just sad because I used to drink their coffee.
The 1998 Honda Civic. Thanks Dave
Going to Mets Yankee games in the late 90’s we’re always fun and memorable! Great times, 🙏
As a car salesman I definitely appreciate the car ads!
I love seeing these cars new. You see something like a 98 Maxima now they show their age.
3:53 Ayyy, Rob Paulson voice over on what really feels like the most *mid* 90's commercial on here.
I haven't seen a Nobody Beats The Wiz commercial in quite sometime! Bought many things from them over the years, including my first DVD player.
I guess The Wiz got beat because they've been out of business since at least 2000 I guess.
I’m still driving that 98 Civic. The 98 Dodge? The engine fell out and the transmission flew away about 16 years ago.
Nostalgia = an illusion of better days. But a good illusion. ❤️
They were better
loving the cell phone commercials
That was a very 90's collection of commercials.👍🏻
Hands down the best channel for dreamy, pleasant time travel; and there should be a hall of fame for the bud ads - thanks, Dave!
Thanks Dave, I hope all is well with you.
Thanks bud, feeling a bit in a rut, this should do the trick.
Can we all agree the view of New York City at 7:19 is a somber one...?
I was thinking the same thing. 😔
True.
Now you mention it... It is...
1999 on is when things really started going to shit in the US... Sadly...
Art at it's finest.
Thanks. I haven't seen a lot of these. We didn't stay in much during the 90's lol
Gotta miss those happy go lucky 90s
I really miss when Edward Herrmann did the Dodge commercials.

thank's for the commercials Dave, especially the ad for Dorney Park's "STEEL FORCE" at 9:22
Happy Halloween!
Isn't that in the Amusement Park in Allentown? It's about an hour drive north of Philly.

That voiceover actor was Edward Hermann. He went on to star in The Gilmore Girls.
Indeed.
Duncan STILL has the Coolatta!!
Generation Z was the youngest generation back then
0:25 WOAh they used the now famous clip of the girl on LSD for a TV commercial for VW beetles and no one knew lol
Ads from the 90s (Late 90s commercials).
