- Hi everyone, Today I'm going to show you how to create a Seamless Diffuse map, Normal map and Bump map using Photoshop.

you can skip the first steps of making seamless by using Offset filter (Filter/Other/Offset) this will shift the image by given ammount of pixels so the edges appear in center where you can mask them and edges become seamless

Just take a picture and fix the distortion to look more flat, then use it as a diffuse map..that is it.

I'm using APS CS6 and I do not have a button under filter that says 3D. I have a standalone 3D button next to the filter button, but it doesn't have any drop-downs for generating a normal map or bump map. Where would I find this in CS6?
Hi DxFx,
There are two reasons for this problem first one is the GPU must be an Nvidia graphic card the second one CS6 version in windows doesn't have this button (I'm not sure about the second reason).
Try to generate a normal map online from the link in the description.

Why not just use the Offset Filter to create the tiling texture instead of the cropping, duplicating, and then cropping again?
Yes it's a different method you can use it.

@@EsmaelAlhroub actually it not my pc my pc has Intel hd 4600. But I use my brothers pc some time and the same happened
Volume is very low
if it is so easy to do this why the hell doesnt 3d modelling software just do this automatically, im sick of importing 4 different maps when they can all just be generated with a click of a button from the original texture.
Audio too low, too bass.
