given the option to use gags, i guess it DOES make sense that the weird route would forgo those lol
Cogs are extremely durable without the ability to make them die of laughter, though, they withstand being crushed by pianos and being exploded by TNT without as much as a scratch and then they die because it is so hiliarious. then again, never seen magic used against them.

I have played it although it will be sad to see toontwon dead as well as seeing ness and Paula
I played Corporate clash, prefer that one cause it feels more balanced

I have a theory!
The LightClear spell we saw in Section 2 will actually appear elsewhere in other sections, that's why in the trailer, the section 4 part with just Kris had Zelda graphics but once Noelle joined it reverted to undertake graphics. Sections 6 and 7 had their James's respective graphics and Noelle wasn't in the party.

This is amazing, can't wait to see what this games has to show.
This Deltatraveler thing always reminds me of super smash bros brawl story mode, where your favorite character fight against villains from another game and i really like it (considering that this hole fangame exist thanks to a meme). And even create that feeling of "wow the game which kris goes is very interesting, maybe i should play it someday".

For somebody growing up playing Toontown with a family of 4 (and still do), my life has finally come full circle to fragging Cogs with gags as the Deltawarriors themselves.
I've never had lost such patience until I took a gander at the OST, as I'm too itched to see Section 7's release.
... I still have a lot of sinking feelings with the Obliteration route going forward though. Chapter 2 had me hurt by a longshot enough.
I absolutely love the way you guys draw Kris.
Its so stylized, and I usually find it hard to add eyes to Kris, but you guys nail it every time.

@@WackoMcGoose It'd honestly be really interesting to have an ACT-based genocide run where you have to use the understanding of the characters you gained in pacifist to break them mentally before you can kill them. A lot of genocide fights are hard but uncomplicated, in contrast to the deep ACTing mechanics in high-difficulty Pacifist fights.l
At that point they might be at LV 19 already, and just… TEARING through every enemy. without gaining any EXP.

As a person that grew up with Toontown, i am incredulously euphoric about this.
Honestly I feel like this section might be a calm before the storm sort of section considering this is before the lostcore and this section itself is Toontown which generally doesn’t take itself serious either, I mean Kris and Susie are basically using weapons from the game. Honestly I don’t expect the genocide route for this section (if it’s even gonna appear in this section) to be all that intense either. Can’t wait to see this section in the actual game eventually.
Mate if he could make a genocide route in Earthbound, god only knows how it will fair for Mario&Luigi or even ToonTown

@@garedbi I mean the based game for Toontown already had you killing robots with literally jokes, with the robots not really caring about their peers dying, I don’t think actually killing them with real weapons would make it any different. Not sure about Mario and Luigi tho.

Kris's main two Gags: Toon-Up and Throw, prioritizes lesser throws and higher end Toon-Ups
Susie's main two Gags: Trap and Drop, prioritizes Traps a lot more.
Noelle's main two Gags: Squirt and Lure, balances her stuff. ...Has a lot more gags in the other tracks she has.

As soon as I first heard Deltatraveler was gonna include a ToonTown section I knew it would immediately get classified as a top-rank favorite fangame of mine. Constantly looking forward to each new section, this game is awesome

This excites me being a huge fan of Toontown, I need this in my life
It's time to clean the claustrophobic streets of corporate crony cogs. Gotta admit wasn't expecting Toontown to make an appearance, but I'm looking forward to it. Though a part of me wonders how the Obliteration route will work here since you can't exactly kill a toon, but I'm hoping it works like Epic Mickey, since in that game the only way to kill enemies completely is to use Thinner which can also hurt names characters. So I'm thinking something along the line of You finding some thinner and then going around systematically erasing toons from existence. And kinda like how it works in Epic Mickey, the more you use thinner the world becomes gloomier and the music becomes more ominous. And maybe since you can't use Gags in the Obliteration route you could instead gain the thinner orbs which appear the more you use it and they would attack alongside you dealing more damage the more thinner you use to make up for your inability to really do damage otherwise.
And speaking of which, the only weapon that would work in this route to kill enemies would be the thinner and by proxy the magic paintbrush, meaning that no matter how hard you try nothing else could do enough to truly kill the enemies. And I imagine that on the route, at a certain point both the corporation and the toons will team up to deal with the Fun Gang but will only wind up systematically erased. And maybe for a final boss we'll actually be able to battle against the big boss which we never got to fight in Toontown because of its untimely shutdown. I can't help but wonder how any main Disney characters will fuction in the section, like will we meet Mickey, Donald, and Goofy? Or will they just not show up, I mean if you're doing Toontown you might as well go all out right? And maybe some Kingdom Hearts refrences here and there since Deltatraveler is similar to it in a sense after all, and Toontown is Disney. All I know is I'm hyped!

ive always imagined a mix of toontown and deltarune battling, like you attack by using gags(or just items) like toontown, but the cogs attack like in undertale/deltarune where you have to dodge them

Well, it's confirmed Kris's eye get's shown in Section 3 in a Pacifist/Neutral route, so it might be a plot point.

No that’ll probably be the section before this since that section is Mario&Luigi and that series generally has an hammer attack you can do, while this section is Toontown which never had an hammer attack.

im guessing its gonna be either tto or ttr since those are the versions of toontown that are more well known, but if it was ttcc then that would just be really really cool since that version's my favorite, especially with the addition of the 1.3 managers
