I just realized that this section could legitimately give people a reason to use the mechanic where enemies become tired when you fight them. I never used it before, but if that one guy was right about not being able to spare enemies normally, then it might become something people actually do instead of ACTing.
Yeah, that, but it’s a thing in Undertale, too. If an enemy gets to low enough HP, they will become SPAREable. Nobody does it most of the time because it’s too risky and usually just results in enemies dying. It’s kinda like catching Pokémon, when you think about it.
@@bluecube9515 Catching in Pokémon with no False Swipe, more like it. Not to mention, the very first boss monster in UNDERTALE actually punishes you for trying that method by killing them early. There's a good reason people never do it, even in the later battles where it *does* work.
How cool would it be if she finally gets an axe & it's one she was almost executed with? Maybe one she fashions by breaking some of the wood off of a guillotine & having Noelle freeze the part the blade is attached to so it doesn't slide when she swings it.
I think the "we don't need a key" of this chapter will be Kris or Susie getting casually the master sword, and that's the one that Kris have in the art
it would be funny if it's only possible in a pacifist run because "you have a pure heart" there, but on oblieration, you can just kill Fi and snatch the fucker anyways.
more than likely though, I can see them ending up in that other dark world, and none of the party's effected, because 2 of them were already anthro monsters and Kris finally gets those horns to grow in. And is also relatively unaffected because well... Why would they be negatively effected by something they wanted once? Would be hilarious if Kris also lacked magic still and is actually peeved about that.

God that ALTTP dark world leitmotif gives me hope that they end up exploring a dark world that isn't a deltarune one, I think the concept would be so cool (I also like how well the composers remixed the Hyrule Castle leitmotif this is so good)

i really hope each section has turn-based rpg mechanics. seeing enemies and allies from other games adapted to fit undertale/deltarune's battle system is probably my favorite part of this project
From what I got from the underevent trailer a part of section 4 will be in the Legend of Zelda a link to the past style before kris and noelle use lightclear and make it UT styled, and I remember hearing that lightclear will be used in section 7
And what if in the normal route you lower the health of the enemies (knights) from the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, then they will run away like the enemies from Earthbound?
After seeing the ALTTP text at the end of section 3 I thought it was a little weird the next section being this game, But I now am realizing this game also has dark words

We saw Kris in ALTTP’s art style and also saw their eyes there, so this might be where that starts. I really wanna know how they got the outfits though. Noelle looks nice in that dress.

I mean, this channel did do a _fantastic_ job with Underfell, after all. Zero cringey material unlike some other adaptations, IMHO, and a great way to convey the characters -- especially Toriel.

IMHO, that doesn’t sound like something someone would do. We already have to fight the bosses, so why would a whole section have forced fighting? Also it ruins the whole concept of a game where nobody has to die.
I actually love the fact after section 3, genocide and pacifist seperate their ways more than section 1-2. I am starting to wonder about maybe after a time the final pacifist bosses after section 3, will be the easiest one to kill in genocide.. Since LV difference gets a lot more.
I wonder if I should've saved a skip sandwich for whatever part this music plays at. Or a certain part in Chapter 3 for that matter. Taking a skip sandwich into games it's not from is starting to seem pretty interesting. It'd be cool if you could enter the Chris Houlihan room but needed a skip sandwich or punch card to do it.
I couldn't figure out what this was until I read the comments, and then I heard it. I didn't grow up with Legend of Zelda, but I did grow up with another game that had a warrior in green, and the title had my mind firmly anchored to that one. Couldn't figure out why I didn't hear any Castle Crashers leitmotifs. Whoops.

When this ost came out I thought it would be another persecution ost. To continue the chase with a confused Kris and Noelle as they travel through the new world they arrived in being chased by guards.
I'm calling it, the guards probably mistook Noelle for Zelda, or any princess. Susie's taking care of most of the guards and Kris is trying to save Noelle. This song is gonna play when the two are trying to escape.
So Section 4 will start out in the artstyle of Alttp along with having its gameplay except you can't kill enemies instead they'll get knocked out and will get up when you reenter a room then after Kris reunites with Noelle they'll cast Lightclear giving you the Deltatraveler battle system allowing you to kill or spare the enemies and Susie is probablly located somewhere else in Hyrule castle that's all I got

I wonder what ACTs would make the Zelda enemies sparable since we'll be able to "decide their fates" but I still can't figure out what ACTs will make them want to spare you for the Earthbound enemies we can look at their names and other information about them and the way they act in battle to figure what ACTs would make them spare you but looking at the Zelda enemies behaviors and information I can't figure out what ACTs would make them think you're chill, but I'm sure the Deltatraveler team will find out a way
What if Noelle is captured and put in the same jail cell that Zelda was in, and that the guards in the video are the ones that were on the bottom floor of the castle in A Link to the Past?
oh my god Zelda is my favorite series ever and having section for be link to the past would be AWESOME imagine if Link makes a cameo in Pacifist maybe becomes a temporary allies or in genocide he is the boss kind of like Ness and Paulia (also Earthbound is one of my favorite games ever so I loved section 2) I WOULD LOVE IF THIS IS A SECTION IT WOULD BE AWESOME 10/10

I imagine Link & Zelda would have a lot less health than Ness & Paula but they'd block attacks because of Link's shield & Zelda's protective magic, which would make killing them feel a lot worse because you're not killing magical powerhouses who are used to getting beaten up but just really skilled, really well equipped/prepared children.

I'd love to see how ACTing is adapted to real-time combat. We already saw on the Tumblr that Inside Job will turn ACTs into Bro Moves, so there's a good chance they'll do it.
i feel like before noelle uses the light spell or whatever its called, to spare the castle guards we're gonna need to use a boomerang since in ALTTP it stuns enemies

Maybe Kris and Noelle have been captured and some person is forcing Kris to play a sick game of the knight (Kris) rescuing the maiden (Noelle), which is why Kris has a sword. Ties in with Kris being the KNIGHT.
Please add section replay for completed save files, adding the option to go back to a past section would be awesome, my concept is that you choose one of the SAVE points to go back, you'll either have what you had at the time or what you had when completing the section, I would really like to be able to come back to a previous section to explore a bit more or just enjoy the soundtrack, please add this, I'm begging (comment n°4)
Well, looks like we now have Section 4 to look forward to. I'd make a theory like I did for Section 3 in the Eye for an Eye video, but I still need to play Link to the Past. Actually, I've never played a Zelda game in my life so this should be very interesting for me. I think it's cool that there's a balance in my gaming knowledge for this fangame. My expertise on EarthBound and Mario & Luigi makes up for me knowing jackshit about Zelda or Toontown.

By the title I thought they were traveling to Castle Crashers, but no, it seems it will be a Zelda Game
It takes place in hyrule castle, so the title makes sense.

I'm calling it, the guards probably mistook Noelle for Zelda, or any princess. Susie's taking care of most of the guards and Kris is trying to save Noelle. This song is gonna play when the two are trying to escape.

So Section 4 will start out in the artstyle of Alttp along with having its gameplay except you can't kill enemies instead they'll get knocked out and will get up when you reenter a room then after Kris reunites with Noelle they'll cast Lightclear giving you the Deltatraveler battle system allowing you to kill or spare the enemies and Susie is probablly located somewhere else in Hyrule castle that's all I got
Just so you know its fine if the game doesn't come along, I enjoy vibing to the music anyways.
Huge fan of ALTTP, discovered DeltaTraveler through BornLosersGaming... I have a feeling this section is going to be great.

I wonder what ACTs would make the Zelda enemies sparable since we'll be able to "decide their fates" but I still can't figure out what ACTs will make them want to spare you for the Earthbound enemies we can look at their names and other information about them and the way they act in battle to figure what ACTs would make them spare you but looking at the Zelda enemies behaviors and information I can't figure out what ACTs would make them think you're chill, but I'm sure the Deltatraveler team will find out a way

oh my god Zelda is my favorite series ever and having section for be link to the past would be AWESOME imagine if Link makes a cameo in Pacifist maybe becomes a temporary allies or in genocide he is the boss kind of like Ness and Paulia (also Earthbound is one of my favorite games ever so I loved section 2) I WOULD LOVE IF THIS IS A SECTION IT WOULD BE AWESOME 10/10

@@DarktoLight561 ganon is prolly gonna be the normal route boss, kinda like porky in chapter two, and killing the protagonist (ness, and paula, or in this case, link) in the obliteration route

I imagine Link & Zelda would have a lot less health than Ness & Paula but they'd block attacks because of Link's shield & Zelda's protective magic, which would make killing them feel a lot worse because you're not killing magical powerhouses who are used to getting beaten up but just really skilled, really well equipped/prepared children.
@@maritoxico9982 I'm assuming that Agahnim would be the normal route boss. There doesn't seem to be any involvement with the Dark Golden Land, so Ganon would be unreachable, and by extension, making Agahnim as far as we can go.

I think it would be crazy if the arrow keys moved Kris around and other keys allowed you to fight in different ways.
I'd love to see how ACTing is adapted to real-time combat. We already saw on the Tumblr that Inside Job will turn ACTs into Bro Moves, so there's a good chance they'll do it.

i feel like before noelle uses the light spell or whatever its called, to spare the castle guards we're gonna need to use a boomerang since in ALTTP it stuns enemies

I’m extremely happy that even if this does get taken down we will still be able to see this chapter because Nintendo really doesn’t care about earthbound and they don’t even own it (from what I heard) but either way I hope it doesn’t get taken down
Maybe Kris and Noelle have been captured and some person is forcing Kris to play a sick game of the knight (Kris) rescuing the maiden (Noelle), which is why Kris has a sword. Ties in with Kris being the KNIGHT.

The title can be taken as a reference. It's just that the song itself is a medley of a couple A Link to the Past songs.

Funny thing is section 4 the section this music will play in will be the Legend of Zelda the classic bait and switch technique
Please add section replay for completed save files, adding the option to go back to a past section would be awesome, my concept is that you choose one of the SAVE points to go back, you'll either have what you had at the time or what you had when completing the section, I would really like to be able to come back to a previous section to explore a bit more or just enjoy the soundtrack, please add this, I'm begging (comment n°4)

OMG I have not realised that ost from 4 chapter. I had understood it only after i hearing Hyrule castle`s theme.
Well, looks like we now have Section 4 to look forward to. I'd make a theory like I did for Section 3 in the Eye for an Eye video, but I still need to play Link to the Past. Actually, I've never played a Zelda game in my life so this should be very interesting for me.
I think it's cool that there's a balance in my gaming knowledge for this fangame. My expertise on EarthBound and Mario & Luigi makes up for me knowing jackshit about Zelda or Toontown.
