Hi There Doom3crazy, good to hear from you!! There are several signs to look out for such as: the gap, how dark, how light, how wet, how dry etc... in my case i opt to replace them since it is more trouble to check them vs replace them....
so in a normal situation, you'd probably suggest that I should just wait until I hit 16k miles to "inspect" them but really, if I am going through that hassle, at 16k miles I might as well replace them, correct? @@ontherebel11
why does the engine have 4 spark plugs? What is the purpose of this?
Hi Tomas! I've read that the second spark plug works at over 4,000 rpm which is why you feel the bike deliver more power right at 4,000 rpm. The reasoning might be for better fuel economy at lower revs? i'm not quit sure...
Did you know that the spark plugs have a rating of 80000 miles on the ngk website
Outstanding! 🤙
The new plugs should be Iridium so you do not have to do this again for 50,000 miles, yes they last that long. Gapping them before install is a must.
50,000 sounds good to me brother! 👍
Admire
Thank you Miguel!!!
Hell nooo
I take it to the dealer better thats alot of work!!
🤣🤣🤣 I totally agree! It's a ton of work!
I forgot to ask, should we take bets on how long it takes that hacky grandpa papa steve to put out a spark plug video?
The more ways to get it done, the merrier? 😊
Thank you JD, I appreciate you brother 🙏
@Peter Kay lol. No he just copies all of Gus’s content it seems.
AS long as it takes Papa Steve to accumulate 16,000 miles. Maybe in 3 years? Or he sells it first.
Even if you pay a dealer to do this job, I guarantee 100% they will change just the outside plug and tell you they changed both! No way dealer will go true this headache, they will just lie to you....
Hi Samuel, you might be right brother, i was just having a similar conversation with a friend. I prefer to do the work myself because i am not on the clock and can take my time to make sure i do it right.
I will never replace that sparkplug. Let the train mechanic do it.
Thank you Odyssey 🤙
Rebel 110 hard remove the spark plug to much untighten remove
Hi Arjay, yes it is difficult....
I like honda rebel 1100
They are awesome bikes brother!
Pp
Over engineered, way too complicated to do. Long ago it took five minutes to change 4 plugs. Technology over done.
It sure is an extensive procedure isn't it!? 🤣
I vill never buy that shit. !
Hi stig, are you talking about the bike, the spark plugs or the work needed to get them changed?
@@ontherebel11 I think i go for the Street Bob 114 😛
Nice! Congratulations! Beautiful bike! But I'm not man enough to own one. 👌
Oh my God. Bullshit
Thank you for your feedback brother 🤙
