I started hoovering the driver about a year ago. I find that it helps my tempo as well. I'm not as quick to pick club up now, which in turn smooths by backswing. If that makes any sense.
Yeah total sense! I think that’s a really good point… it helps a lot with tempo and I find the transition between backswing and downswing is better too. I’ve tried a few different things from my coach on driver this year, and they are all starting to work. Always takes a while to ingrain!
I thought I was! The worst thing is I have moments of hitting it so straight but just as many where I carve it 65 yards right or left. So any simple tips are always best for me.
