While practicing in the driving range,it's easy to check the alignment using the alignment stick.but how do I check on my shoulder alignment to target?
This is just incredible. To be able to analyse and fix more than problem so quickly by doing so little. I have never seen a lesson so effective in my life.
Awesome job guys! So many people want to skip the basic setup and go right to the swing. Or worse yet, change the setup from proper to what they “think” will help their ball striking. So important to find a good instructor and get regular checkups for your setup.
I am gonna try this out. Thats exactly what i was doing to fix my slice. I was addressing the ball more and more with a closed stance. And the slice wont change at all. Now i know why! I ll try to be more square and see how that helps. Thanks in advance whether this helps me or not. 😊
Thanks for sharing! My own ball flight has become lower than I prefer lately (reducing carry distance). I know in the past I've had a tendency to get aligned too much to the right (compared to parallel alignment to the ball to the target line). (Maybe somewhat related to right eye dominance for a right handed golfer). Based on the events in your video I suspect i've fallen into the same habit of aligning too far right at address.
Could you please explain ball position part again? To me it makes sense that ball position more forward = path swinging back to the left, which would curve and slice the ball to the right.
Being 5’7” I feel a little uncomfortable with having to adjust as the individual in the video because the closer I stand, the more I bring the handle up to stay on plane. Do I need to shorten my driver from standard length? Or is there a way to work around it besides “gripping up” because my swing is still impacted by my pelvic area
Interesting. At first he was rotating in his shoulders and at 4:20 he slightly dropped his right shoulder. How did he know how to do that when the instructor didn’t cover that.
Can you make a video about how to deal with the contact point on the driver face moving to the heel when the driver rises off the ground to hit the ball? When I address the ball it's at the center of the face, but when I lift the driver off the ground about an inch or so the contact point changes to the heel.
"Even though my golf shots reach a relatively good distance, they are always very high, which penalizes my overall distance. Is there a solution to this?" Thank you
My brain is trying to make sense of what he said about not turning his back and using arms at the start of the downswing.. ……does that mean more arms? I thought you were supposed to use body to turn for power??
A common misconseption is that a fade travels shorter than draw. Two objects, the club head and ball face a collition. It makes no difference if you hit it from inside or outside, if you don’t cut it while coming from outside. Just split the path by half and aim your clubface there!
@Meandmygolf When you are in Florida let me know :) I am ready for my lesson as well LOL. And as always you guys have been doing amazing videos for years now. Thank you for the great content as usual

IM CURED!! That's exciting :) The alignment is probably #1 thing we all missed out on.
It's amazing how many golfers neglect this.
PGA - Posture - Grip - Alignment The true fundamentals of golf. Great vid guys!

That’s a great lesson, and so glad for Andy! It’s always good to remember the basics with alignment and posture.

I just caught your channel. I’ve learned so much. I can’t wait to try a couple swing adjustments. I’ll let you know how it works out.

It's the "I'm Cured!" that gets me... it's a real feeling.
If only golf were that easy 😂😂

Been questioning my alignment after some wonky driving rounds lately. This was eye opening…
bring a 24 handicap like me on the show!!!
Love this lesson it’s so relevant to me - from the other side though as a leftie!
You guys are the best! Thanks for all the great advice!
Great session, Andy.

A little off this topic, my Question is-at what point in the down swing do you down hinge your wrists?
After you hit the ball
Well done guys excellent work 👏 👍 😊
Thanks Roy. Hope all is well.
Another Mandmygolf Video and im all for it! Thanks for the great content you guys are providing over the years!
Our pleasure! Glad you enjoy them.
What did that do to his spin numbers?
Ball position plays a huge role to it!
Awesome progression
You guys are great.
Great lesson guys
Thanks Julian!
I do need to add HEIGHT with my driver
… so, this is great 👍🏻
Thank you 🙏🏻
More driver, please
Wow, that is identical to my swing. I am a 8 but only because I am really good from 150 in. If I can fix this I can get below a 5
i would like to see a follow up. sort of a “where are they now video” to see if this lesson stuck and he is still hitting them straight.
Unfortunately, Dave, he's lost in the right woods and has not been found.
I love your videos, but I wish you guys would do some videos with seniors.
I need a coach so bad.

Stand further away from the ball. You just answered your own question.
@@joshuat7171 No, that's not it.

lol.... I can hit a massive fade from ANY stance.... into the wind, downwind - fairway, rough, sand - I can slice it from bloody anywhere!
Need y’all’s help
Wow that jumper is ridiculous
It's lovely and warm!😁

Respectfully if this guy is an 11 handicap with that swing ive got a lot of hope lol
😂😂😂
Check out @notascratchgolfer
Cant male this stuff up
Check out Sergio’s Garcias swing
Bet 90% of golfers would be happy with that swing Mr critical
The basics people, learn them yourself...

There is no way he is a 11 handicap. With that ugly swing, he’s probably a 21 handicap.
No, he's an 11, but he takes gimmies and mulligans. A solid reverse handicapper!
the Andy's sweatshirt is very unwatchble

Appreciate the comment. We will keep you posted if we are heading over.
Whats the name of the Adidas Shoes you have on? @Meandmygolf
I am not sure exactly but they are new and spineless. You should be able to find them on the Adidas site.
Adidas S2G Spikeless ‘24
So SIMPLE when a pro sees it and makes corrections. Moral of this story?…….take lessons to get better!!!!
