😂😂😂 nah… to be fair there’s a few things to increase distance but there’s one thing I do here that helps a lot above everything else in my opinion.

So no it has a lot of options. Can be quite confusing. You can go up and down 0.75 / 1.5 / 2 degrees at a time. You can also make the low angle more upright or flatter. I’ve put a link in the description to the Taylormade website to a PDF that has a nice diagram of all the options.

And yeah I use a couple of different devices to check my numbers when using top tracer. It was 170 and cleared the range which is 300 yards. Yeah I’m really torn between the Aerojet LS and the big Bertha. I got the Aerojet second hand in very good condition for £100. It’s really quite forgiving but out the middle does send it further than most. Cant decide which to put in the bag for 2025.

No not yet… got a lot of cheaper equipment recently such as the qi10 LS and max 10k to review for the channel. Need to sell them on eBay and then I can look at things like ping and the AI Smoke. How bout you?

I am still using the XR16 that I have had from launch. Going to trade in for a AI Smoke this week now it’s dropped in price The Big Bertha 23 that you have in this video has got me thinking though

@ love an XR16! I’ve tried the AI Smoke very briefly a few months back at a local golf shop - like 5 shots. Having played paradym triple d last year I’d say it feels very similar just a bit smoother on off centre hits. I’d say save yourself the money and go for the cheaper option and buy a new wedge or a load of balls. The AI will depreciate further over the year but I don’t imagine the big Bertha will lose too much more as it’s already so cheap. Would love to do a head to head on the two. Hopefully I can get hold of an AI soon!

Depends on setting. At 11.5 on average it’s just short of driver, but way more consistent. If I loft down it’s the same or longer due to being easier to hit. At moment I’ve lofted up as a fairway finder. Best club I’ve ever put in the bag!

Yeah total sense! I think that’s a really good point… it helps a lot with tempo and I find the transition between backswing and downswing is better too. I’ve tried a few different things from my coach on driver this year, and they are all starting to work. Always takes a while to ingrain!

I thought I was! The worst thing is I have moments of hitting it so straight but just as many where I carve it 65 yards right or left. So any simple tips are always best for me.

For me no, pro v1 and tp5 are ok, I get quite a steep descent angle on most shots so I don’t want lots of spin. I swing driver around 115- 117 mph at cruising pace. Having tested a lot of balls, my favourite for my speed and game is the left dash, but they are EXPENSIVE! The new TP5x seems to be a very close second and it’s cheaper so arguably is my new favourite. BUT the old TP5x is very similar, and even cheaper if you can find them on eBay. I have a lot of balls I want to do some more in depth testing with once my GC3 arrives, so will be putting some videos out in the new year on that. Thanks for the comment!
