I am confused. It is my understanding that the likes Bryson uses the left dash because his swing speed would create too spin with a standard prov1x so the firmer left dash fits the bill for him. Again Rory uses the firmer of the two 5 piece offerings because his swing speed creates too much speed thus a firmer ball he can control the spin more. Tiger doesn't use TM balls he uses Bridgestone. Only an opinion of course but if you want more control with your swing speed it would be Prov1 or Tp5.
For me no, pro v1 and tp5 are ok, I get quite a steep descent angle on most shots so I don’t want lots of spin. I swing driver around 115- 117 mph at cruising pace. Having tested a lot of balls, my favourite for my speed and game is the left dash, but they are EXPENSIVE! The new TP5x seems to be a very close second and it’s cheaper so arguably is my new favourite. BUT the old TP5x is very similar, and even cheaper if you can find them on eBay. I have a lot of balls I want to do some more in depth testing with once my GC3 arrives, so will be putting some videos out in the new year on that. Thanks for the comment!
