Great videos Trottie I play 770s and thought Id be in the UDI. Much preferred the feedback/response from the UDI, loved the stock flight as well, but struggled to launch it higher when I wanted to (maybe a shaft issue that I need to revisit). The DHY was much easier to launch (with the same shaft) and easy to flight down. The dhy also felt more versatile as a daily bagger for me based on where I play. I ended up with a 2dhy but both are beautiful clubs dont think you can go wrong either way.
Currently have 770 2 iron great club but getting a little old might need something with a little more forgiveness definitely going to check out the udi model!!
Def have my eye on the DHY. I love the look of both of these, but I am personally leaning more towards the DHY. I currently use the Ping iCrossover and have been loving it, will be interesting to see if the DHY gives me the same distance, feel and forgiveness that the iCrossover does (especially on toe hits). Loving the newest releases from Taylormade, fantastic stuff!
Yea not as cruisey out the semi as your rescue but it'll still go. I'll be honest I've been bouncing between both the DHY and the UDI version, still very much in the testing process.
Everything that is old becomes new again. I love the utility Irons are becoming a thing again. Now I’ll just sit here and wait to see who comes out with a new 1 iron first.
The P-UDI is very different. I've never used the Stealth version but this club has a slightly different CG to that line. As I always say, try them both before you commit
@@trottiegolf Thank you kind sir. Keep up with the videos! I look forward to it every week. I love your story from being a club fitter at the Belfry to becoming what you are now. Yep, I’ve listened to most your guest podcasts, about 6 or 7 of them from Barstool to Peter Finch’s podcast.
yes some people suck at putting or with wedges. Getting the right set up for you for the particular shot and swing you produce is the goal. Getting a proper fit and understanding to your game will help minimize your bleeding out on the course.
Oh this is tricky! The stealth DHY is my secret weapon! Straight 200yds + every time. I’m just about to buy the p790s so do I upgrade to the pDHY for aesthetic purposes or stick to my current magic wand!
I am playing the p770 4-P and am deciding on the same spot you are filling in this video. Just curious. Did you consider the p790 3 iron? Based on CG it should launch higher than the 770 or the UDI, but lower than UDH. Seems like it also could work in this spot. Great work. Enjoyed the details on these tests.
Thanks for the response. Really enjoy your work. One of the few who breaks it down like you do and shows the camera angles on the clubs that we want to see. … Went and hit them today. Super clubs from TaylorMade, just depends on what use you want. Love my p770 4 iron and I left with the UDH 3 in next spot. Height is what I wanted and it is very easy to hit, almost hard to miss. The way they suspended the backside - I love the look from address. Thanks for your review. Really helped!
Hi! I'm playing the p790 (2023) and have just started hitting my 5-iron quite well now i am looking for a 4-iron. Would buying a 4 in P-DHY be better and more forgiving than continuing with the p790 4-iron?
@@tylerdewey4089 Yes because they pay them millions to play their equipment don’t be naive, the best ball striker in the world is the best because of him not the equipment. If Trottie or any of these guys were sponsored by any other brand it would be the best thing ever, it’s about who’s signing those checks. That’s why you take any of these guys word for it because it’s what they’re paid to say. I’m sure it’s a good club TM makes good stuff but so does every other brand.
@@BlairBN01 like this comment Blair. 100% agree it's all about the fitting. Listen folks, you guys do what you wanna do when it comes to equipment choices but the bottom line is TM makes some killer stuff & yea I've been connected there for a long time so to say I do this for the pay check is prolly a little far fetched. The relationship is at this stage VERY DEEP

I’m Titleist through and through but have a stealth dhy 2iron, it’s absolutely 🔥🔥🔥
Look forward to trying these clubs out and see which fits my needs best.
Thank you Trottie
Love it I’ll have to look at them. I currently rock the sim driving iron.
Picked up a 2 UDI already! Great club getting the shaft switched out right now for a KBS PGI to make it a little eaiser
Have the 2 iron P-UDI on order!! Had to buy it straight from TM as I'm a lefty and my local shop hates on us
I would love to know the difference between P.DHY and Stealth DHY, which one is more forgiving?

Ordered the dhy over the weekend 😁

Interesting, I’ve been looking at the icrossover. Whats your set up with it?
Custom DHY 4 is going in my bag! Bye bye 4 hybrid!
I’m still carrying the SIM-UDI 2-iron in my bag…what would be the benefit of upgrading to the P-UDI?
Slightly different flight / apex and launch
As ever Trottie great information would have liked to see you hit them out of semi as well as its taking the place of a rescue.

3i UDI and ventus 10tx for the win
Big golf shaft!!
@@trottiegolf nah, but I do wish it came in X, I play axiom 125X which are friendly and matches up nice!
I wish I could try the new Brnr mini but I am a lefty and I can’t try it unless I buy it first!
the fun part of using the p-udi is that i can tiger's stinger
what is the difference between the P series and the stealth DHY?
The P-UDI is very different. I've never used the Stealth version but this club has a slightly different CG to that line. As I always say, try them both before you commit
Can high handicappers use this or is this a difficult club to hit?
The DHY 100%

I did not but I think the P-UDI is the way to go. Just based on the spin rates it produces

Is there a swing speed suggested, to prefer these to hybrids?
I don't think I suggest one but all speeds can make them work if fit in the correct manner
Swing looking good Trottie
Getting there & thx mate
Trottie - big fan.
Been gaming the Stealth UDI 2 iron for about a year now. Any reason to upgrade to the new P-UDI?
Slightly different CG location. Test em out before you commit to anything & know the job you need the club to do

TEST IT but I like where your head is at. All depends on your level but the DHY is a good place to look
Went with UDI over DHY. Couldn’t stand the look of the dhy at address. I do game the 23 p790s
Fair and I get it. I am currently on the UDI but have chopped around a lot since first getting them
DUI?

Shouldn’t really be taking anyone’s opinion on the internet - go get fit and find out if it’s a good club for yourself.

Haytch 😅
P-DHY has the higher ball flight, not the UDI
Talk about having it good! You're not fooling anyone you're British when you wear trousers and a sweater while hitting golf balls in perfect weather.
🤣
This could be the gap filler for me
Lee Sharon Thompson Jennifer Jackson Ruth
Ping Eye 2 still rules the roost in 2&1 irons 😮
The OG! Had one myself to be fair
