I have both the Skytrak+ and uneekor eye mini lite. The lite is many times better. The number of missed shots and unable to connect to gsp directly pissed me off so badly I got the Lite. The lite is quick, super accurate, never missed a shot, the club face camera, no red lasers. The sticker it's only 1 sticker and they stay on your club forever, maybe only have to replace it twice a year with

Excellent response! Thnk u for mentioning the “measuring vs calculating” club path! So many people assume that the ST+ is measuring club path and it does NOT. It only measures swing speed. The path and face angle are calculated (golftec even says this on one of there utube videos). I briefly owned the ST+ and compared it side by side to a trackman and the club and face angle data was not accurate. I always say that if u want an ST+ just save urself some money and get the OG ST. Therez virtually no difference. Thats what i ended up doing. I now own a BLP, but the OG ST is a great starter unit for anyone.

I agree. OG Skytrak at $995 is a better value than ST+ at its current price range. For something camera based and under $1000 the OG is good option.

Outstanding vid. currently using GC2 with GSPro and very happy but will eventually go to EML for the club data included. hope to get one on sale in the next month or two.

Thanks for the video. I have been on the skytrak train for months, needing the shorter depth units. Only 17’ in my space. I was thinking the course play would be good enough.
So many mixed reviews on the ST+, some even downright trash the unit. Cause for concern. I saw the EML and loved the video of the contact, and more positive reviews.
You have helped move me solidly towards the EML or BLP, as you mentioned you recommended that unit also. I have nothing currently and don’t mind reasonable subscriptions.
I like that the EML supports GS Pro, which you also recommend. My budget is 6k. I have nothing currently, curious what the recommendation would be for a launch monitor.

Sorry this took a while to respond to. If you're budget is 6K for the launch monitor alone I would go with the BLP. If you also need to get a computer, enclosure, etc with that 6K then I would suggest the EML to make the most of your budget. Both are going to perform really well for indoors/sim. The BLP data would be trusted a bit more, especially club data.

Just recently, SktyTrak software has come available on Mac OS. So if someone has a mac with an M1 or better chip, they get the full software set there.

lol! That’s actually pretty cool because I’m not aware of any other sim/launch monitor software that’s available for MacOS.

The one challenges with club stickers is tournament play. They are illegal for tournament play. You can remove and reattach but that would need to be done if playing tournaments.

Im lefty and most if not all friends are right hand, do i need to move the eye mini lite around each time there is a change on golfer swing side?
i'm still designing / researching for my indoor golf sim for a basement, i'll have dedicated PC for this as I want to be able to do other stuff with the screen like watch movies.
i was interested with eyemini lite for value, dont need portable. Also located in Canada.
Though I wonder if I need to get one of the ceiling mounted because of me being left and potential playing with right handed golfers

The best option would be something ceiling mounted for sure. Yes, you would have to move the EML back and forth and since it must remain plugged in to power and ethernet you would have a lot of cords moving around with it. Something portable like the Bushnell launch pro or regular eye mini would at least be cordless.

Have the Skytrak + been using it with GSPRO for over a year never a problem and the chipping and putting is spot on. In a round maybe miss one shot normally none. Those that trash the unit probably don't have it setup right. The shot delay is at most 1-1.5 seconds.

Mevo + will give you all of the ball and club data he wants without the need for club or ball stickers.

I think the Eye Mini Lite is probably the better value. I will say since Golftec has acquired Skytrak and they are transitioning to using the ST+ solely in their studios, I think there will be some changes to both the software and device. I also find it interesting that Rapsodo is the engine for the ST+ but why doesn’t that get mentioned.

I was surprised to see Rapsodo involved too. Seems like that would be considered helping the competition in some way.
