Hey Jay, I’m an EyeMiniiuser and I have to say that I’m satisfied with the numbers I get back from the eye mini. I will say that the view software seems to overcook the ball flight on a draw a little. Like you I’m an in to out swinger and the mini constantly shows me with a draw to hook shape That I believe is exaggerated compared to what I see on course. I have a suggestion for a video with either the mini or the mini lite, set it up with view on one screen and GS pro on another and compare the ball flights and show us what you get, because as you say, that is managed by the software not the launch monitor
Yeah, as I was mentioning in the beginning of the video, flight algorithm is always going to be unique software. So even though the raw numbers are coming right from the launch monitor software can take its algorithm and have it go 10 yards further and also a heavier draw or fade. GSPro could be right or another one could be right or they both could be wrong haha 😜. I mean, they all are pretty close nowadays. What I have noticed is the perspective of the trace actually is different in a lot of software which can make some feel a little more of a curvature. The only way to see the exact amount is to look at the off-line number.
Good Video, thanks. Couple of questions: 1. I did not see club "face" result. Is that an option? 2. I see that you have video set up for a back and side view. How did you set that up?
What's your thoughts on Eye Mini Lite vs Skytrak+ since the 5.0 software update? It's down to those two units for me. I really like the clubhead view at impact with the Eye Mini Lite.
Just wondering, a bit off topic, but how did you get your impact screen to be so quiet? I can barely hear the impact. Is that just the video dampening it? I’m putting a sim in my garage and really want to minimize noise for the kids as much as possible.
It’s kind of a combo. It’s very quiet, but a premium triple layer with memory foam behind and a sound proofed room with absorbing curtains etc. Garages echo it’s tough. Usually, it’s more of the impact of the club than it is the ball hitting the screen in those cases. But you definitely want to go with a premium screen. Feel free to shoot me an email and I can show you some options and I have discount codes depending on what you’re gonna buy. a98cr125@gmail.com
Great video, Jay. I realize the mini lite has to be plugged directly into the computer with an ethernet cable, but does the computer have to be hardwired into the modem, or can the computer use a wifi connection? Thanks for keeping up the great work on these videos.
Hi Jay, just getting to know My new Eye Mini, very impressed so far and your videos are helping immensely, just a quick question how do you split the screens in the refine software?
Love the videos Jay, I am one of those possible launch monitor upgraders, I noticed that none of the shots showed AOA. Does this happen with Uneekor or does it have to do with an earlier comment on club sticker being off? Also if you had to pick either BLP w/ club data or Uneekor Eye Mini, which would you go with?
That was a good on my part not turning full club data on. It does measure AOA. I apologize for that! Lots to talk about when choosing a launch monitor, shoot me an email and happy to dive into it, just too much for comments. a98cr125@gmail.com
You reviews are excellent! I live in Colorado, does Uneekeor Eye Mini lite allow you to change elevation? I would like to practice at Colorado elevation but I also visit family in New York. I have no idea how far I hit the ball in NY so it would be good to be able to set at sea level as well. Thanks! Can you also confirm that your computer can be wirelessly connected to your router? I understand that Uneekor to computer has to be wire connected. Thanks!!
Interesting, I have had no, no reads this far. I’m sure there could be some certain color drivers or tees etc causing a few unique situations. Generally after any launch after user feedback comes in certain firmware pushing adjust those type of things.
When you are working on taming your draw, my coach said I need to look at two data points. My swing path and my club head closure. I also hit a big draw which I want to tighten up. I know Uneekor offers swing path data but I don’t think it tells you how open/shut your club head is at impact. Is that correct? Hope I am wrong because this seems like a great option for me. I believe Skytrak offers these data points. Any thoughts comparing these two? Thanks!!
Hi,Jay I have just been trying to play GSPRO on my sim screen and open the view software on my monitor. It seems that when the 3rd party connector is active the view software will not open. Can you let me know please of there is a way to play GSPRO and run View on my monitor thanks.
@@GolfSimulatorVideoshi jay what do you mean by that. I just have to run gspro and view will automatically open? Or do i have to ppen view app and then launch gspro?
Hey, does the EM Lite show the Angle of attack, dynamic loft and Face angle? I saw some videos where the “Data tiles” with these parameters are there in the software, but it was like it did not read/show these numbers? Any idea why?
My Eye Mini is definitely not displaying distance accurately. Simple punch shots, using the mini game, unequivocally display a 5-10% reduction in my real world difference. It's frustrating, since distance control was the main reason I wanted a Sim set-up.
Interesting, what type of distances are you talking about? Let me know and I will do the same testing. Also, what type of turf heading off or Green grass, etc.
@@GolfSimulatorVideos hitting off the country club elite mat... Brand new. I use meters down here in Australia, so the mini game is 60, 80, 100, 120 for me. I practice using my PW (I'm off 3). I know that I can comfortably hit my PW 120m - but can't get the ball to the platform unless I flush it. The knock down 100m shot is a very easy punch swing for me... But I need to just about hit a full PW. As I say, it's 5-10%, but when practising at my level of play, that makes the difference.
@@Sisu2280 Curious… what firmware and software versions are you on? That percentage almost sounds like the difference between a meter and a yard. @@Sisu2280 I was going to say the same thing as what the other user was saying. I’m interested in if the settings are proper and you’re actually seeing meters versus yards. Is the launch monitor matching up with the number in the software? What about view or any other software?

Hey Golf Simulator Videos, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made. I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and repurpose your long videos into highly engaging shorts? I can also make high CTR thumbnails for your channel
1500 and even an 850(!!) spin seems like a wild misread IMO. Really hard to get down there. While you're also seeing 3000+ with the face a little open. That's a huge change. Either your driver head sucks, or it's misreading spin. Seems like it needs a major firmware fix.
It’s not, watch my Trackman iO and Quad videos. My normal spin is 1800-2000. My driver is actually great and I’m happy with everything I see here. @@richcummings9686 No point in doing a launch monitor driver review with all straight shots hit in the center, I like having the misses, those are want people want to know are being read correctly. Especially the gear effect and spin axis result etc.
