I think it will do well considering it has infrared and a solid hitting area. Really appreciate you guys commenting and watching. I have always enjoyed your channel. Maybe some day we can catch a round together!
@BryanBrosGolf We did some testing with irons and driver last night and so far so good. The impact image and video looks great too and it was getting dark outside. ruclips.net/user/shorts5xEagzd7Syo
Thanks for this content! For me, this appears to beat the GC3/BLP because of the impact video. Would be interesting to see a head to head comparison of the two. The new version of Quail Hollow was realeased for GSPro last week and it is incredible.
Thanks for watching. You can't do a valid head to head as the infrared of each unit will interfere. Yeah that was my bad I thought it updated and did not.
I have only had just over 24 hours with it lol So I really can't speak on that. I think though it comes down to more personal preference to the user. Which software they prefer like FSX pro or Play VS View / Refine etc.
Hi, another great video thanks. Being in the UK I have just received my eye mini lite, as they have only just reached us. I noticed when you viewed your club data (4:20) you were showing face angle. Was that correct as Uneekor have told me that face angle isn’t supported on any eye mini product, only the XO variants. Thanks again Neil
Those numbers are not correct it was estimating thinking it saw stickers from EYE XO. They have addressed this. MINI does not measure face angle at least as of now.
I think I did test the putting and you get the swing path video and impact image etc. I think what you are asking calls for a video for EYE MINI putting going over all of that! Stay tuned :)
You don’t. It’s one or the other. VIEW sends the data to 3rd party software. The only reason to run the connector is if you want to save some PC usage. Many people run VIEW on another screen to see the path video and data while playing other software
Would you say this is a lot more accurate for chipping and putting compared to the Mevo plus? Also, how does the Uneekor mini do for high swing speeds with driver?
Camera will always be more precise for short chipping and putting just as it measures in a short distance. Mevo+ was stated from the beginning for putts over 5’ I want to say. It does really well, plenty good for most but camera has an advantage indoors especially for things like that.
@@danielmcdonald8149 I think it's possible that the Quad/GC3 is not actually using super high speed video, but instead using slower cameras combined with a high speed strobe system. There claim of 10,000 fps video back with GC2 always screamed BS to me, there's no way you could get 2 cameras with any meaningful resolution at that framerate for what they charged or even in that form factor.
@@danielmcdonald8149 It doesn't move on the mini either. Its just a wider camera view that crops the image to the ball then moves the frame of the video, not the actual camera itself
It’s going to be a little difficult to do that since you can’t use two of the side launch monitors at once, because the infrared interferes with each other. It’s possible you could compare it to eye xo which has been proven to have top level accuracy. I’ve only had the unit for a single day, so just getting settled.
@@danielmcdonald8149 so Trackman is not my go to for indoor benchmark. I have tested a little with. EYE XO And even though some shots are identical I’m also seeing some interference occasionally. So going to be tough to see what would be a good comparison.

@@chachifeereno that number is not being measured. I showed them that and they will most likely remove that number one mini is being used that way people don’t rely on the data. They did say they would see if they could backwards calculate into the number but it’s not measuring face angle.
@@GolfSimulatorVideos Hi, you mean we wont be able to see/know in the future if the face is open or not at impact ?? thats important info, maybe I misunderstood
@@Chris-mr8qm you can “see” the face in the video but the face angle data point at this time at least is not a measured data point and they are not stating it as a provided data point

@@GolfSimulatorVideos You might be able to do the LH/RH trick where you have one of the side monitors on the same side you're hitting from. It feels awkward to swing that way at first but you get used to it. Just not sure if the two sets of strobes would interfere with each other.

@BryanBrosGolf I should have also mentioned, I plan on doing outdoor testing but unfortunately it is 40 and rainy in Michigan still! SMH

Is this unit easy to flip around for lefty & righty play? Or is there too much potential calibration error by messing around with it once positioned?
Yep
Hello, does the eye mini provide any on-screen feedback for putting when used as a stand alone unit?
I think I did test the putting and you get the swing path video and impact image etc. I think what you are asking calls for a video for EYE MINI putting going over all of that! Stay tuned :)
How much is the yearly software subscription ? Can you use the driving range without a subscription ?
NIce video as usual. WOuld love to buy one when I travel to the US, as long as I can use it in India. Possible to get some info on this?
It is region locked for USA and Canada only.
do you need to buy a the refine or refine+ to have it work with GSPRO?
You need either the basic subscription at $199 per year or unlocked license which includes everything in a perpetual format for $2000
Hi great video , would you recommend this launch monitor ? I currently have a Skytrack and I am looking to upgrade .
There are many factors to consider. Why don’t you shoot me a quick email and I’m happy to discuss everything with you. a98cr125@gmail.com
Can you do an accuracy comparison with the Eye Mini?
It is going to be tough since infrared can interfere, but I am working on some options. Thanks for watching.

It looks like the section in the top right of club view is for showing ball impact on the face but i don’t see any data there?
The MINI does not provide face impact location since it is a single dot unit. Those data points are for EYE XO and EYE XO 2.
Can you adjust the speed of the greens down to around a 9 stimp reading with that software? I’m assuming it would be adjustable.
Yes, I just have it at the tournament speed of 11. You can dial it in to match your turf. Thanks for watching!
Looks like a great unit to enter the arena. Makes me wonder why the quad/gc3 doesn’t show impact video..
Yeah I would assume the other side units could do the same in theory, but UNEEKOR is the first to bring it and it really is nice. Thanks for watching.
