I love watching men's desk setups because they are minimal and not too overwhelming like the ladies' ones (sorry ladies, u do way too much at times.). this is soooo cool and love it. instant follower.
Thank you for taking the time for leaving such a lovely comment! I'm definitely the type of guy who likes less stuff on the the table where everything has it own dedicated space.😃 Also, welcome to the channel! 🙌
MacBook Pro M1, AirPods Pro, Logi Mouse, felt mat, 4K monitor....looks very familiar to me lol....just wish I was as tidy 😛 Great video, keep up the great work ✌🏻
Another good example that you don t need to spend hunderts of $ to have a nice/clean setup to work on. The only thing I would miss are some speakers because I can not wear headphones all the time. The rest is spot on! Thanks for sharing!
@@DomRosenberg Edifier speakers are really good for budget audio, especially for something as simple as a computer setup. Try looking at the R1280T or R1280DB speakers!! They're super affordable, sound great, and even have bluetooth connectivity.
the production level is insane! I recently built my (gaming) PC setup on my channel and I envy the amount of desk space you have In your new setup. Also I have a feeling your channel is going to blow up soon, keep up the great content! :)
Thanks a lot - I highly appreciate you saying that!🙌 Enough desk space was the main goal for me as sometimes I'd like to take a pen and make notes, and I also feel overall better in this new setup. Good luck with your channel too!
6:45 You need to fix that switch/PoE power supply hanging off this wall outlet. Everything is really nice otherwise! :D (You can fix it easily with a white ethernet cable, and an outlet with a white cord to mount under the table together with the switch)
Interesting.. First vid I've come across where someone has opted for a static desk over a sit/stand desk. How are you finding it so far? Do you think you will move to s sit/stand setup in future? (I've seen a few where there lowest height just rests above the Alex drawers, so you can still keep that part. Essentially just replacing the base/legs of the desk)
Well, I still have the option to go for a standing position at my girlfriend's desk if I want to. However, I really believe that no position is perfect if you stay too long in it - whether it's sitting or standing. So, this is my primary place to work, but I tend to change positions (even when it's just a small change in my sitting posture) and also places at home - such as couch, standing desk, kitchen desk etc. It's fair to mention, it really depends on what type of work I'm doing at that point. :-) Anyway, I found this setup from the video very comfortable and as you mention - if I'd be missing standing option at my main workplace in the future, I can implement the moving parts and still keep the Alex drawers. Hope that helps!
Thanks for the tip! I get your point, however after testing things out, I guess I like it more when the desk is a little bit over the edges on both sides and in the front as well.
Thanks! It's the Markus chair from IKEA as well. I have been using it for years and in my opinion, it's really durable and good quality chair for the money.
@@DomRosenberg Thanks so much for the info. It does look like a very comfortable chair! Wishing you, your family and all your viewers a most happy and safe holiday season! 🙌🏾🙏🏾😊
Out of interest, how tall are you? I'm 195cm and I have to raise my monitor up a number of inches to make it a comfortable height, so my laptop stand ends up not being tall enough. Your one looks perfect :D
I love the cleanliness ..
Thank you - I appreciate it!

Thanks a lot! Yep, I'm currently looking around for some good speakers. If you have any tip, feel free to share. :)

Yep, you're right - I'm aware of it and will take care of that soon (hopefully :D). Anyway, thanks for you kind words!
Nice!

Yo should align the drawers to the end of the top…use legs under the table top to create more space and for aesthetics…

Which colortype of your Karlby deskplate? 🙂
It's the "Birch/veneer" - the brightest variant. Hope that helps! :)
Thanks. 🙂@@DomRosenberg
Ikea markus is confortable?
Yes, I personally find it comfortable and also durable. :-)
Very nice setup! By the way, what brand of chair is that?

You need best cables treatment
Yep, agree - working on it! 🙂

I’m 190cm, and the stand can be actually positioned even higher than in the video. So, I think you should be fine!🤞
@@DomRosenberg Ayy, thank you!
