How do you go about priming the injectors and anything else?
I have a question, the rocker cover seems to be everywhere and I am having high p re assure in my rocker but the cylinder heads seem to be fine. Do you know if the rocker cover has its own air filter path out that could be blocked? No air pressure seems to come out the side on a recirculating pipe I would have though that would let the pressure out to the exhaust. (Vans 🙈 who would have em)
Great video..question clamp bolts are 6nm plus 180 degress any ideas what that converts to in nm when fully tight? Or do you just no them up?
Thanks
What brand of cover can you recommend please?
what is the proses of starting it after as mine is not starting
Do you not put a new rocker gasket on?
Hi. Was there blowback out the oil filler cap, due the the seals being gone? Neighbours started leaking and white fuel smelling steam/mist coming from filler. Would seals cause this or was yours just leaking oil?
Yes that is one of the signs that the injector seals have gone?
@@carmandosgarage Great thanks. Garage told him engine was knackered but I didn't believe that. Tons of power and zero smoke from it. It idles rough but over 1000 revs it's perfect. Just stinks if fuel from the cap. Thanks a million for the Reply...
The customer brought this van and was told the same by several other garages
@@carmandosgarage I got a seal kit for him, as Its what i suspected. When seen your vid I thought it was worth asking you, just to sure. Hope to do it tmrw evening for him. Thanks again mate... Great video...
Do you put new injector seals in?
Yes we always put new seals in they are only a couple of pounds 👍
What brand of caver can you recommend please?
I’ve followed this video to the absolute letter but there is diesel pooling on top of the rocker cover… any ideas how to fix??
Give us a ring tomorrow mate

bleed off pipes not set and locked properly or little O ring gone on bleed nozzle.
Thanks
I’ve managed to get this sorted… I think the problem was the copper washer not being seated correctly so after cleaning and replacing the injectors I gave them a couple of slight taps on the top with a rubber mallet to ensure they were seated (I read somewhere to hit them with 20lb of force but I didn’t want to damage them) then torqued the stretch bolts
