Tbh Khezu should not come back. They need to bring back Giganox (idk if i said it right). Its like Khezu but poisonus and no lightning. And if they return we will get Gigi’s again wich are the absolute best small monsters.
Guess I'm gonna give a hot take here giving how the community feels about Khezu, I think he's a good monster, he's a example of getting blood from a stone with the original wyvern skeleton of the first game, has weird and creepy but also has funny meme potential, plus he has a cool greatsword and I think he gets way too much hate, and obviously if there are environments that are perfact for him then yes he should be there and I think giving him a ambush mechanic and a grabble that leads into him one hit killing you by eating you like in frontier zenith would push him to the next level, however if we need to choose between him and gigginox for the creepy cave monster niche then gigginox deserves a turn, I still firmly believe that gigginox should have been in iceborne and he deserves to be back he's one of my personal favourites, hell I'd take both in the same game I see no reason why they can't share the caves, plus imagine a turf war?
Giganox would fit in mhwilds pretty well considering the herd mechanic, with the Gigi’s I wonder what they could do with giganox in wilds, imagine your hunting a giganox and it has an egg sac on its back that if you don’t pop it in time your gonna get swarmed by 20-30 Gigi’s and have to run for your like 😂
@@RathalosWatch I mean we’ve seen a bunch of bird/dog wyvern like jaggi’s ganging up on a herbivore and chatacabra, what if we see a hord of giggi’s suck the life out of a small monster like a popo, it would expand giganox’s image and make him different from kezu and other flying wyverns.
Maybe instead of a swarm of giggis attacking like a horde imagine gigginox babies just fleeing the cave and each one could damage the mission final money gained, or actually attacking the hunter and crawling the gigginox herself and doing a creepier rakna kadaki moveset with poison attacks or literally leeching You if You go full melee against a "infested" gigginox, i really miss gigginox, and hope he return
I'm team gigginox with You, and i really want to see him having Turf wars out of conventional ones, just him fleeing the fight and doing ambust toxins, or Even the enemy trying to hunt giggis and we see the mother making his rival waste time so giggis geting a snack being a defeat to gigginox battle but victory in war
Im not a khezu fan, but some people like it, maybe is the fact that looks like a resident evil mutant or the fact that he have a awesome theme but really im fine seeing him in rise and thats it, hope gigginox get his spot as the spooky scary gecko
@notme6753 That would be dope! I'd gladly do it. I love the quest in 3U where you have to kill Gigginoxes in a row. lol it's a tough one. Only in high rank, and you don't really have an upgraded fire weapon at that point yet. The thing hunting Khezunis good for is for the pale extract i believe to craft Demondrugs.
@@RathalosWatch Sadly I never got the chance to play MH titles from Nintendo like the 3U as I only play those the are on PlayStation. I did however got the chance to hunt Giginox in MHP3rd and if I remember correctly there was a quest where you can hunt Gigi and Red Gigi at the same time lol. Yes pale extract is required to craft demondrugs. I used to hunt Khezu for it as well and also for its cool armour set that looks like something from assassin's Creed
@notme6753 Red Gigi? There is no red Gigi. You must be thinking of Baleful Gigginox, who's actually dark yellow, and he turns red when he is enraged. Meanwhile, the regular Gigginox turns dark gray when he enrages. MH3U is a fantastic game. I refuse to play them on Nintendo systems, so I just use an Emulator on my PC instead. P.S. my next video covers Gigginox!
@@RathalosWatch Yes just by watching the gameplay, MH3U is a fantastic game. Too bad I didn't get the chance to play it. I think 3U has the best monster rosters of all. I like how elemtal focused they are and lots of them glows like Zinogre, Giginox, Alatreon and that one big monster that you fight underwater I think it's called Cedele. Did you like the underwater mechanics in 3U? Was it really hard and annoying like what people say?
@notme6753 You should watch the very first video of this series which is Lagiacrus. It discussed my feelings and thoughts on the underwater combat, it's also the best video in the series. I do agree that 3U had an excellent roster. World probably has the worst out of all the titles.
Kehzu has a special place in my heart…. That place is black, i hate fighting it, but i adore his funny design and adore the spooky flesh nurse aesthetic of it’s armor and weapons…. A part of me wants to just say yes because my friend despises it for the phalic imagery

I think there's a good possibility that he could return due to the fact that Balahara looks weird and alien like Khezu. They could definitely have more types of ceiling crawling weird mouth looking monsters I believe.
@@ikcurik funny thing is Balahara is actually quite based on more reality than I thought. Check my Balahara Visual Design rating video. The eyes are of that of clams/scallops in IRL.
@@ikcurik there is a lot of weird creatures in real life , especially out in the sea. A ton of alien looking shit lol. It really goes to show how us humans are so ignorant of our own planet. We have no idea what's even out in the deep ocean let alone other planets. Too bad you or me won't live long enough to be able to experience on what it's like to do planetary travel casually and what kind of life forms are out there. But yes, Balahara is for sure alien looking lol.
I am fond of Khezu, it was the first monster I ever did a no damage run against in MHFU, it was a fun fight for me and I think its one of the more interesting designs being blind and relying on hearing more so you can sneak around it as long as you're quiet. I think its inspired by another Capcom enemy, the Lickers from Resident Evil as it has the same mechanics, same vibes going for more of a horror monster feel and even the red variant is like the same color as Lickers. Gigginox on the other hand I didn't care for because its derivative of Khezu but with poison and going on the walls a lot more which made it really annoying to fight. I'm pretty sure I had hunts fail just because it wouldn't get off the damn ceiling. I wouldn't mind if they changed Khezu's veiny-ness to just be a pale white monster or add some other feature on its skin like maybe muscle striations to take more inspiration from Lickers.
@HateSonneillon can't wait too see the next Resident Evil. I am a huge fan myself. What rank did you do 0 damage run on Khezu? Village, High Rank or G Rank? I never had issues with Gigginox going up on walls, he usually gets off pretty quickly.

Honestly I rather see giginox come back since we only fought it in the 3rd generation of monster hunter plus for me I believe it deserves to be brought back to modern monster hunter than khezu

Nope, khezu Is cool and all but he gets way too much attention compared to gigginox. With that said I much rather have gigginox to return to monster hunter wilds he fits the theme anyway, and possibly another member of the "strange wyvern" category. I hope to see some underrated and underutilized monsters make a return with more newer monsters than returning
@@RathalosWatch I was going through low rank with my girlfriend haha! I thought the video was great!! Khezu is my favourite monster but I agree with the closing statement, capcom has the potential with the focus on ecology in wilds to make Khezu shine better than ever before. I thought he wasn't interesting to fight in rise TBH, it felt kinda awkward with his no music gimmick and the speed of the game itself, I know portable games have less focus on ecological details and more focus on gameplay but idk... He didn't feel upgraded at all. I hope both he and Gigginox return and we get to see them act as ambush predators n stuff!! :D.
I don't really care for Khezu's fight in Rise. Its boring and I found it a chore to go back and fight Khezu if I needed parts, though luckily that wasn't too often. I know that the lack of music was a gimmick, but that also added to the boredom of the fight to me. (Now, if they added the adorable squishy sounds for its feet like in Stories 2 for it, maybe I would rate it higher). For me to ever want it back, I would need its fight revamped a lot, preferably ONLY dwelling in caves or undergrounds, AND some kind of music made for it, even if its just intermittent horror themes or weird sounds, sure, just give me SOMETHING please.
I looooooooooooove Khezu. The monster I grind the most in PS2 for the Assassin Creed set, lol.. But I don't need Khezu in Wilds, it is too easy for me. Khezu is either dancing at the top my hand or just hanging in between my legs, read it like a book. Nobody hates Khezu, they just hate the 🔥soundtrack
lol nice write-up. Khezu is piss-easy. I think most people dislike him cause of his weird disturbing visual design and some annoying attacks and constant screaming/roaring.
For some reason Khezu is considered cute in Japan according to Gaijin Hunter. You can see clearly how cute he is at the beginning of this video during the ecology scene. I don't think Khezu should come back and believe that Gigginox is the more interesting monster, but apparently Japan does not feel the same way and thus I'm not really holding out hope for his return. The only really interesting thing about Khezu is that since he doesn't detect the hunter by sight and thus never actually 'spots' the hunter battle music doesn't play during his fight. This adds to his creepiness factor. As the Monster Hunter franchise has evolved the developers have gotten increasingly more skilled at monster design (both in terms of visual design and designing their hunts) some early designs have fallen by the wayside in favor of more refined ones. Rathalos/Rathian, and Diablos are the most notable non-elder large monsters from the first generation that still consistently show up time after time, and their animations and movesets have been given touch-ups with each passing generation. There's a reason that we got Great Jaggi/Wroggi/Baggi in third generation instead of the Veloci/Gen/Io/Gia dromes. They could have simply reconfigured those old monsters for the new generation but instead they decided it was worth it to put time and resources into making entirely new ones that served a similar purpose. So, when you ask 'should X monster return to sixth generation,' there is a big nostalgia factor for those who have fought these early monsters and a curiosity factor for those who have not. While it would be neat for newer players to be able to experience updated versions of these old monsters that can take the spotlight away from newer, potentially better ones. Maybe they can come up with a new khezu/gigginox type monster that's even better than both of them but we would never experience it if they decide to just reuse an existing monster. In the Qurupeco video I lamented that we haven't seen it in a long time and its mechanics would work great with the new tech of sixth gen, but they could possibly make a new monster with similar mechanics if they felt it would enhance the overall experience and we might be better off for it... just as an example. (Final note about the video presentation in general. It sounds to me like you're rushing your speech in order to make the videos as short as possible and I can't imagine that's very comfortable. Allow a punctuation, especially periods, to last a smidge longer to both give yourself a second to breathe and for the audience to 'breathe' as well. Rushed speech can be difficult to parse, especially if it runs or is edited together like an episode of Zero Punctuation.)
@Zulban48 yeah, no offense to Gaijin Hunter but I never understood his reasoning for what he considers "cute". It always felt odd to me. I can see Pukei Pukei being cute but Khezu is far from cute lol. As far bringing back old monsters for nostalgia purposes, yeah I'll agree with that. I can't believe Capcom is bringing back Congalala. I am still in shock and flabbergasted that my fart boi is coming back and I am so happy new hunters who never played before get to experience him. @@RathalosWatch I guess the cuteness thing just has to do with culture. I had one person tell me that it's more based on what features are present when you 'chibify' them into a plush toy, for example... but even then I don't see it considering what 'features' Khezu has. It's not just Gaijin Hunter either, just look at how popular he is in the vote, you even mentioned it in the video. If I had to pick a 'cute monster' it'd probably be Lagombi. I'm happy to see Congalala back too. When Metal Gear Solid 5 came out it seemed like it was a game that took itself too seriously, even with the little bits of comedy they did try to inject. I was worried that Monster Hunter Wilds might have been going in that direction... but Congalala returning gives me hope. This is also assuming that it's not a situation like in 4U where you can get armor from a monster that's not in the game by trading other monster parts for it. I am enjoying what I've seen so far (still have to go back and watch some of your other stuff) but I am glad the RUclips algorithm managed to pick you up at such an early stage. If you keep it up this way, and you're passionate about doing it, then you are off to a great start.

As much as I love Khezu especially since he was my first wall back in FU when I was a kid. I love its design, armor, weapons, and overall vibe. However, with all that said I dont think Khezu should take a spot in Wilds as we just had it in Rise and due to Gigginox not recieving any mainline love since its debut gen. I think giggi deserves some time to shine as the creepy cave dweller monster.
With the new Trailer for Wilds coming up in a couple of days, and us probably seeing returning Monster in it, have you thought about making videos of should X Monster return with us already knowing thats gonna be the case. Also, if I remember correctly Khezu's design came from a developer that had a nightmare during MH development and then recreated it in form of the Khezu.
@bravebellamy1905 could you please rephrase your question? I am trying to understand what you are asking. Right now the goal is to make as many of these videos as possible. Because if say for example Tetsucabra gets revealed for Wilds, then there is no point in making a video called "Should Tetsucabra Return to Monster Hunter Wilds?" However, I could make a video on a returning monster and still give it the usual brief history that I always do and then say whether I believe it's a good or a bad thing that the monster is returning to Wilds. Basically, I'd have to flip the script a bit. I feel like the speculation ones are more interesting because the Momster Hunter community can dicuss whether they think it's a good/bad monster to return. Where, if we already know if someone is returning or not, is not as mysterious.
i love khezus visual design and its ecology, but i do not like fighting it. While i don't mind it comming back, i feel like Tobi Kadachi is far better siuted as earlygame electric monster.

@@RathalosWatch It has a slow and boring fight which somehow manages to be simultaneously extremely annoying. The lack of music gimmick does not help with either of those. On top of that it has a very offputting design, which already has a much cooler alternative in the form of Gigginox

@@MrPun-yf5vv I enjoyed the crap out of rise sunbreak, it was also my first. After I watched the trailer for Wilds and they did the back to world event I went and played World with my buddy. I enjoyed both games very much and I constantly go back for forth between them just to fight the other monsters that I love fighting.
Personally, I will not miss this guy if they leave him out of Wilds I did not enjoy his fight in rise or sun break and I really don’t wanna deal with farming him for pale extract

A slight correction in that khezu does have a pretty big achivement that no other monster has, that it quite literally filtered a bloodborne speed runner not only that it was village khezu that did it
@@RathalosWatchheyZeusHeresToast is a bloodborne speedrunner that played rise when it first released, after going through some village quests he got to khezu and he beat him up so badly that Zeus never picked up the game again, u can look it up it’s fucking hilarious just type Khezu vs Zeus and you will get the the clip
@@RathalosWatchim guessing u know this but just to clarify for people who don’t know village is the easiest “level” in MH Rise having quite literally less health and dealing less damage whilst giving u low rank mats, (it’s essentially journalist mode so people with less experience get some practice in before going to even low rank) and Zeus still got beat to hell and back by that

There are pros and cons to the Khezu but the one thing that bothers players about it is it's the only monster without its own monster theme. Personally I would think bring back both of these terrifying monsters.

But I do get what you are saying. Maybe they could have made a memorable theme for him in the past, but I feel like the boat for that has sailed.
@@RathalosWatch I was aware of what Capcom was trying to do with Khezu and its horror theme. The scream enough is horrific. I honestly don't find it among the worst monsters. This is just coming from a guy who has an ear for music in gaming. Even Gigginox has a very eerie theme going for it. You'll have to post when the discord is up and running. @BoneReaperLagiallosaurus that's not true, though. There are plenty of quests where you fight Khezu in swamps besides ice/tundra. And even jungle too in Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. It's in the video. You might be thinking of Gigginox, his the only one in Tundra I believe.
@@RathalosWatch True but Khezu keeps appearing on Tundra more often than other biomes plus it looks like Capcom really likes Khezu only in the tundra more than other places.
@BoneReaperLagiallosaurus I mean we already know that there are more biomes lol. Capcom confirmed this in the interview and website also states that Windward Plains is just one of the regions. They also said everything is seamlessly connected, meaning it is not seperate maps and you go through the world naturally.
@@RathalosWatch Well it hung around the roof, and instead of dropping giginox tried to eat you. Also no lightning attack but poison or paralyze for the sub species. But I think with the herd of gigis it would be fun. Looking forward to giginox, one of my favorite tri monster (custom bow gun was so much fun against it, too bad that's not coming back...)
@bambam-gj2vw you are forgetting baleful gigginox. He was lightning with explosive thunder egg. Khezu never lays eggs and never spawns any babies. He also doesn't flip around like gigginox either. And khezu doesn't spit poison or releases any sort of clouds. Gigginoz has a much wider arsenal of attacks. Also, you can't hit his tail unless he is in rage mode. Gigginoz flips his attack able parts depending what state he is in. Khezu does nothing like that nor do other monsters. Gigginox is very different.
@@RathalosWatch You're right! God it has been a long time since we could fight giginox... For the PSP games, it's far easier to get a setup to play it on pc with your friends, the Wii/Wii-U versions are much harder because of the server dependencies... I also think, that out of all the MH-Tri monsters, giginox felt the most "natural" with its egg laying mechanic, you could find it by just following the spawning gigi's, which would make it a great contender for the new game.

It should get back! Specially with it's stupendous theme music. It's a electrifying :D PS: Also, he is an initial challenge for many new hunters and he is supposed to be one of the first electric monsters a hunter fights in his journey. He's not flashy by any means but he's cool I guess
@_gokceada based on the weapon showcases, they showed the Charge Blade and Switch Axe both seem to be new insectoid monsters. Look at them again, Charge Blade looks like a new spider and Switch Axe looks like a Orchid Mantis.
@@RathalosWatch Some say that the switch axe could be from a Scorpion. Ice damage though? Well in the desert it does get cold. What if it's underground during the day and surfaces at night? I think that would we awesome!
I think flagship monsters from previous titles are most likely to return. I hope the Fated 4 makes a comeback together because in gen 5, Glavenus was in World while Astalos and Mizutsune were in Rise. The mammoth monster however has yet to make a comeback
@@RathalosWatch Khezu is a more of a Karen than a monster, yelling and screaming at the slightest inconvenience. His aesthetic is cool, even if it is gross, but that doesn’t make up for the fact that his fight in Rise (ESPECIALLY MASTER RANK) is horrid. I also have a grudge against him because he is unfortunately the monster that corresponds to the best or 2nd best (can’t remember which) thunder element switch axe in Sunbreak, and I was really unlucky when farming for his materials. Tl;dr-I hate Khezu because I am very biased : )

Secondly he is just a dumb fight he isn't even hard but he just spams electric aoe constantly those are my 2 main gripes with him. Theres literally so many cool monsters that could return and khezu should be at the bottom of the list

@@RathalosWatch Sadly I never got the chance to play MH titles from Nintendo like the 3U as I only play those the are on PlayStation. I did however got the chance to hunt Giginox in MHP3rd and if I remember correctly there was a quest where you can hunt Gigi and Red Gigi at the same time lol.
Yes pale extract is required to craft demondrugs. I used to hunt Khezu for it as well and also for its cool armour set that looks like something from assassin's Creed
@notme6753 Red Gigi? There is no red Gigi. You must be thinking of Baleful Gigginox, who's actually dark yellow, and he turns red when he is enraged. Meanwhile, the regular Gigginox turns dark gray when he enrages.
MH3U is a fantastic game. I refuse to play them on Nintendo systems, so I just use an Emulator on my PC instead.

@@RathalosWatch Yes just by watching the gameplay, MH3U is a fantastic game. Too bad I didn't get the chance to play it. I think 3U has the best monster rosters of all. I like how elemtal focused they are and lots of them glows like Zinogre, Giginox, Alatreon and that one big monster that you fight underwater I think it's called Cedele.
Did you like the underwater mechanics in 3U? Was it really hard and annoying like what people say?
@notme6753 You should watch the very first video of this series which is Lagiacrus. It discussed my feelings and thoughts on the underwater combat, it's also the best video in the series. I do agree that 3U had an excellent roster. World probably has the worst out of all the titles.

I am fond of Khezu, it was the first monster I ever did a no damage run against in MHFU, it was a fun fight for me and I think its one of the more interesting designs being blind and relying on hearing more so you can sneak around it as long as you're quiet. I think its inspired by another Capcom enemy, the Lickers from Resident Evil as it has the same mechanics, same vibes going for more of a horror monster feel and even the red variant is like the same color as Lickers. Gigginox on the other hand I didn't care for because its derivative of Khezu but with poison and going on the walls a lot more which made it really annoying to fight. I'm pretty sure I had hunts fail just because it wouldn't get off the damn ceiling. I wouldn't mind if they changed Khezu's veiny-ness to just be a pale white monster or add some other feature on its skin like maybe muscle striations to take more inspiration from Lickers.

I never had issues with Gigginox going up on walls, he usually gets off pretty quickly.

I thought the video was great!! Khezu is my favourite monster but I agree with the closing statement, capcom has the potential with the focus on ecology in wilds to make Khezu shine better than ever before.
I thought he wasn't interesting to fight in rise TBH, it felt kinda awkward with his no music gimmick and the speed of the game itself, I know portable games have less focus on ecological details and more focus on gameplay but idk... He didn't feel upgraded at all.
I hope both he and Gigginox return and we get to see them act as ambush predators n stuff!! :D.

I don't really care for Khezu's fight in Rise. Its boring and I found it a chore to go back and fight Khezu if I needed parts, though luckily that wasn't too often. I know that the lack of music was a gimmick, but that also added to the boredom of the fight to me. (Now, if they added the adorable squishy sounds for its feet like in Stories 2 for it, maybe I would rate it higher). For me to ever want it back, I would need its fight revamped a lot, preferably ONLY dwelling in caves or undergrounds, AND some kind of music made for it, even if its just intermittent horror themes or weird sounds, sure, just give me SOMETHING please.

lol nice write-up. Khezu is piss-easy. I think most people dislike him cause of his weird disturbing visual design and some annoying attacks and constant screaming/roaring.
For some reason Khezu is considered cute in Japan according to Gaijin Hunter. You can see clearly how cute he is at the beginning of this video during the ecology scene.
I don't think Khezu should come back and believe that Gigginox is the more interesting monster, but apparently Japan does not feel the same way and thus I'm not really holding out hope for his return. The only really interesting thing about Khezu is that since he doesn't detect the hunter by sight and thus never actually 'spots' the hunter battle music doesn't play during his fight. This adds to his creepiness factor.
As the Monster Hunter franchise has evolved the developers have gotten increasingly more skilled at monster design (both in terms of visual design and designing their hunts) some early designs have fallen by the wayside in favor of more refined ones. Rathalos/Rathian, and Diablos are the most notable non-elder large monsters from the first generation that still consistently show up time after time, and their animations and movesets have been given touch-ups with each passing generation. There's a reason that we got Great Jaggi/Wroggi/Baggi in third generation instead of the Veloci/Gen/Io/Gia dromes. They could have simply reconfigured those old monsters for the new generation but instead they decided it was worth it to put time and resources into making entirely new ones that served a similar purpose.
So, when you ask 'should X monster return to sixth generation,' there is a big nostalgia factor for those who have fought these early monsters and a curiosity factor for those who have not. While it would be neat for newer players to be able to experience updated versions of these old monsters that can take the spotlight away from newer, potentially better ones. Maybe they can come up with a new khezu/gigginox type monster that's even better than both of them but we would never experience it if they decide to just reuse an existing monster. In the Qurupeco video I lamented that we haven't seen it in a long time and its mechanics would work great with the new tech of sixth gen, but they could possibly make a new monster with similar mechanics if they felt it would enhance the overall experience and we might be better off for it... just as an example.
(Final note about the video presentation in general. It sounds to me like you're rushing your speech in order to make the videos as short as possible and I can't imagine that's very comfortable. Allow a punctuation, especially periods, to last a smidge longer to both give yourself a second to breathe and for the audience to 'breathe' as well. Rushed speech can be difficult to parse, especially if it runs or is edited together like an episode of Zero Punctuation.)
@Zulban48 yeah, no offense to Gaijin Hunter but I never understood his reasoning for what he considers "cute". It always felt odd to me. I can see Pukei Pukei being cute but Khezu is far from cute lol.
As far bringing back old monsters for nostalgia purposes, yeah I'll agree with that. I can't believe Capcom is bringing back Congalala. I am still in shock and flabbergasted that my fart boi is coming back and I am so happy new hunters who never played before get to experience him. Very curious too see his new updated visual and combat design. Super hype.

@@RathalosWatch I guess the cuteness thing just has to do with culture. I had one person tell me that it's more based on what features are present when you 'chibify' them into a plush toy, for example... but even then I don't see it considering what 'features' Khezu has. It's not just Gaijin Hunter either, just look at how popular he is in the vote, you even mentioned it in the video. If I had to pick a 'cute monster' it'd probably be Lagombi.
I'm happy to see Congalala back too. When Metal Gear Solid 5 came out it seemed like it was a game that took itself too seriously, even with the little bits of comedy they did try to inject. I was worried that Monster Hunter Wilds might have been going in that direction... but Congalala returning gives me hope. This is also assuming that it's not a situation like in 4U where you can get armor from a monster that's not in the game by trading other monster parts for it.
I am enjoying what I've seen so far (still have to go back and watch some of your other stuff) but I am glad the RUclips algorithm managed to pick you up at such an early stage. If you keep it up this way, and you're passionate about doing it, then you are off to a great start.

Right now the goal is to make as many of these videos as possible. Because if say for example Tetsucabra gets revealed for Wilds, then there is no point in making a video called "Should Tetsucabra Return to Monster Hunter Wilds?" However, I could make a video on a returning monster and still give it the usual brief history that I always do and then say whether I believe it's a good or a bad thing that the monster is returning to Wilds. Basically, I'd have to flip the script a bit.
I feel like the speculation ones are more interesting because the Momster Hunter community can dicuss whether they think it's a good/bad monster to return. Where, if we already know if someone is returning or not, is not as mysterious.

I enjoyed both games very much and I constantly go back for forth between them just to fight the other monsters that I love fighting.

A slight correction in that khezu does have a pretty big achivement that no other monster has, that it quite literally filtered a bloodborne speed runner not only that it was village khezu that did it

There are pros and cons to the Khezu but the one thing that bothers players about it is it's the only monster without its own monster theme. Personally I would think bring back both of these terrifying monsters.

Now, in regards to your comment , I believe Capcom did it on purpose because they wanted him to be a creepy monster without a theme. But I do get what you are saying. Maybe they could have made a memorable theme for him in the past, but I feel like the boat for that has sailed.
@@RathalosWatch I was aware of what Capcom was trying to do with Khezu and its horror theme. The scream enough is horrific. I honestly don't find it among the worst monsters.

@BoneReaperLagiallosaurus that's not true, though. There are plenty of quests where you fight Khezu in swamps besides ice/tundra. And even jungle too in Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. It's in the video.

But I think with the herd of gigis it would be fun. Looking forward to giginox, one of my favorite tri monster (custom bow gun was so much fun against it, too bad that's not coming back...)
@bambam-gj2vw you are forgetting baleful gigginox. He was lightning with explosive thunder egg. Khezu never lays eggs and never spawns any babies. He also doesn't flip around like gigginox either. And khezu doesn't spit poison or releases any sort of clouds. Gigginoz has a much wider arsenal of attacks. Also, you can't hit his tail unless he is in rage mode. Gigginoz flips his attack able parts depending what state he is in. Khezu does nothing like that nor do other monsters. Gigginox is very different.
@@RathalosWatch You're right! God it has been a long time since we could fight giginox... For the PSP games, it's far easier to get a setup to play it on pc with your friends, the Wii/Wii-U versions are much harder because of the server dependencies... I also think, that out of all the MH-Tri monsters, giginox felt the most "natural" with its egg laying mechanic, you could find it by just following the spawning gigi's, which would make it a great contender for the new game.

@_gokceada based on the weapon showcases, they showed the Charge Blade and Switch Axe both seem to be new insectoid monsters.
Look at them again, Charge Blade looks like a new spider and Switch Axe looks like a Orchid Mantis.

I think flagship monsters from previous titles are most likely to return. I hope the Fated 4 makes a comeback together because in gen 5, Glavenus was in World while Astalos and Mizutsune were in Rise. The mammoth monster however has yet to make a comeback

@@RathalosWatch Khezu is a more of a Karen than a monster, yelling and screaming at the slightest inconvenience. His aesthetic is cool, even if it is gross, but that doesn’t make up for the fact that his fight in Rise (ESPECIALLY MASTER RANK) is horrid. I also have a grudge against him because he is unfortunately the monster that corresponds to the best or 2nd best (can’t remember which) thunder element switch axe in Sunbreak, and I was really unlucky when farming for his materials.
Tl;dr-I hate Khezu because I am very biased : )

@@RathalosWatch well for a start he looks like the uncircumcised Weiner of a vampire. Secondly he is just a dumb fight he isn't even hard but he just spams electric aoe constantly those are my 2 main gripes with him. Theres literally so many cool monsters that could return and khezu should be at the bottom of the list
