another list with a gigginox mention!! it makes me happy to see more people wanting it to make a return. great choices overall though, zamtrios, naja, agnaktor, kecha, qurupeco, seltas queen and gogmazios are also high up on my personal list! a few others I'd love to return are duramboros, gravios, gypceros, plesioth, nibelsnarf, gobul and nerscylla :)
i could imagine them being pack hunters that all flash at the same time and before their prey realises what has happened, 2 or 3 of them have been snatched and dragged off
Najarala is actually a Snake Wyvern, and it along with it's subspecies, they're the only Snake Wyverns ever. I really hope that Wilds give us a few more Snake Wyvers to hunt. Also, excellent list, Thank you for nto doing what everyone does and simple list every flagship and final boss Elder Dragon. I also want to lesser know, and weird monsters in this game. I want most of these monsters back as well. I also want Gravios, Monoblos, Duramboros, Plesioth, Nerscylla and Monoblos (replacing Diablos) back as well
Oh wow I really didn't know that about Najarala, but it checks out. Well, he is very cool either way :) MH has waay too many cool monsters to just list Elder Dragons and Flagships :) When it comes to Monoblos, I guess we'd need a single player monhun game for him to ever return.
Technically Remobra are also Snake Wyverns however they are small monsters and formerly were classed as Flying Wyverns up until Monster Hunter 4. Najarala does however remain as the only Large Monster Snake Wyvern
@@dogo523 Laviente is “Unclassified” as the people researching its blood noticed it’s different from anything else they’ve seen so they couldn’t properly classify it
Seltas Queen has got to come back, she's one of my favorite monsters. She's just so unique, and we haven't had a Neopteron hunt since Ahtal-Ka. Seregios is another one I want to return, as he's also one of my favorites, actually my number 1. I know Seregios was in Sunbreak, but I want him to become a staple monster. Brachydios also needs to come back, such a fun fight and amazing gear. Fully agree on Gogmazios, in fact I think he should be the big final update monster for Wilds' DLC, kinda like Fatalis was for Iceborne.
Actually recently fought vaal hazak, and he enters his lair through the pool of acid water so there is definitely something to be said for an aquaric ancestor
When I heard the word ""herd" I think of elephant. When I think of elephant. I think of Gammoth. When I think of Gammoth I think of her turf war with Tigrex. Oh and it's her not him. Like irl elephant Gammoth is matriarch specie. Their elder are almost always the biggest and oldest female in the herd. Gammoth herd usually have several popo accompany them as a mean of protection against large predator. In Gammoth herd there are 2-4 adult Popo 4 juvenile popo 2 juvenile Gammoth and 1 elder. In a rare occasion elder Gammoth who got heated and break away from the herd for a really long time might got bigger and stronger but even more aggressive and become Elder Frost Gammoth.
Eh, some of them are fine. Odogoron and legiana would be nice. Could honestly do without a bunch of the flagships like tigrex or zinogre. They're fun but we've had them for 4 games in a row. Plus I imagine they'll go the route of world where most of the cast of monsters are new with a few returning ones to fill out the roster/niches. Add on a few title updates to add a few more and with the expansion they can really go hog wild with the returning monsters
Oltura as a siege quest like kulve or safi would be so incredibly cool. and would fit pretty well with all of the weather mechanics they seem to be adding.
An excellent, and unique wishlist for sure! Especially happy to hear Qurupeco, Oltura (gosh I can't even fathom just how amazing their hunt/equipment would be!!), Nakarkos and Vaal Hazak mentioned. Also about Vaal/Nakarkos: - Glad to find others with a soft spot for those two death oriented creatures! - Vaal is especially interesting with them being implied to be the Rotten Vale's "keeper" in a way. It might be confirmed, but my headcannon is that they're pretty much responsible for the Vale's upkeep/care by keeping track of the effluvium in different areas of the Vale. I believe their theme is also literally called; "The Keeper of Hades"! Bonus: One of you mentioned how you really liked the Coral Highlands and Rotten Vale; if you are a fellow nerd when it comes to general ecology of irl things, I recommend looking into how similar the Vale is to the deep sea! Lots of cool comparisons like marine snow, whale falls, and even brine pools can be made. (That's just a few examples, there's a lot more! 👀) - Nakarkos has a really cool gimmick with using parts from other monsters as weapons- like Brachy's pounders/fists, and Glavenus' sharpening fangs- so they could even give them more to use with new monsters! Off-topic from the Vaal/Nakarkos stuff, but a couple of monsters I'd love to see are: Great Maccao, Paborubarumu (hunting horn whale), and Estrellian. Which, Estrellian especially has some potential with them being a "???" class monster like Gore Magala. Along with the ecology of them using Star Butterflies (akin to Zinogre using Fulgur Bugs) is just so cool. Though, two of those monsters are highly unlikely, I can dream! Sorry for the long comment! Just discovered this channel and I loved the video!♥
Gosh, I'm really really hoping for Gigginox as well as the 3u tundra theme. We haven't had Gigginox AT ALL since 3rd gen, not even in spin-offs, and it pains me so much. Hoping for Qurupeco as well. I'm also hoping for Malfestio back, it has one of my favorite designs in the franchise. Now, if I can include a frontier monster, I want Toa Tesukatora to come to the mainline. I enjoyed the hunt so much in Frontier, and I love having ice elder dragons.
We gonna overlook the fact that nibelsnarf will most lilely be in the game, due to the fact of A:desert area and B: theyre adding the ability to pick up barrel bombs that you maybe werent able to use and re-place them else where
I'd like to see Great Jaggi again. We've seen their smaller variants recently in rise, and with the whole pack tactics gimmick it had, it'd be neat to see them in wilds. (Also we last saw Great Jaggi in 3U, they didn't even get into GenU).
I really hope my favorite magnamalo gets into wilds but I know that’s copium of the highest degree but at the very least he’s probably going to be in the next portable game
The Astral armor you get from Nakarkos is my single favorite armor set in the MH series, all I can hope for is that he comes back in Wilds cause I wanna see that armor again so badly 😭
I'd wager we see a large number of monsters from world returning as they seem to be using the same framework and they tend to "recycle" monsters they already have before adapting others

Vaal having a double jaw is interesting since apparently he doesn't need to eat, he can survive by absorbing nutrients from the affluvium he controls. But he himself can't make affluvium, so he uses the flesh he wears as skin as sort of a fuel source for affluvium.
@@judie6727 wow that is interesting my second guess would be a evolutionary tool it used before its symbiosis with the effluvium was fully complete maybe? Probably had the effluvium kill things then chew on em
Vaal Hazak has a very aquatic morphology, pherengial jaws are an aquatic trait evolved like how Jaws originally evolved (a pair of gills getting stronger and moving forward). It’s part of the design, being representative of the deep sea, with the coral highlands above them and the carrion filled deep sea below
I love Agnaktor, they are by far my favorite volcanic critter. Their clacking is so unique, I feel like they could have such a cool ecology with their pack and social communication. It’s gonna sound so dumb but I miss Great Luddroth, I know they were kinda boring but they were my first wall in 3u (first game I tried). I know that Great Jaggras is closely related to Great Luddroth but I found them kinda sad to fight as they were weakened a lot to be the first monster in MHW
I really want Nerscylla back, she is the hunt that made me fall in love with the series. I also want Bazelgeuse. Interestingly I find those two hunts to be very fun, but I couldn't care less about the gear. Bazel doesn't even have a bow.
We need najarala back, he's so much fun and his subspecies is even better. The balahara seam to be the lagiacrus/agnaktor shape so it seams that they got that skeleton fixed so they can add them now. I really want a new snake wyvern. an idea i had was like a snake drome withe a nest of vipers motif that have confusion and blast. That would be fun chaos, with the little ones getting a wolg like grapple. Tzi tzi yaku is an odd choice, i don't know, he's too weak for where he was in the game to leave much of an impression. i was fine with magma almudron as a stand in, because the skeleton didn't work, but we need agnaktor back and glacial agnaktor is also awesome. we have a new frog, both Rise and Wilds have a new frog, so he has to come back. We even got his little ones in Rise. Imagine like the small monsters ganging up on a large monster but it's zamites or giggies trying to cling to a monster with theri teeth as they are flopping all over it. It's been too long for giggnox, since MH3U. He has to come back and he fits the more scary motif with the monsters in this game. He was the second try at what khezu failed to be. Also, he's the 4th tsudo wyvern with; tigrex, nargacuga, and barioth. Baleful was a waste, just gigginox but his element/status swap made him more like khezu. Gammoth and lagiacrus were the only flagship monsters not in 5th gen at all. Duramboros was also the only brute wyvern to not show up for 5th gen. The zones in Wilds look massive so stuff like gammoth and duramboros would fit right in. Ketch watcha is a nice monkey, i'd love to see him again. His subspecies was meh, just him but gray and with fire. Seltas needs to happen, we need more insects. The idea of them being a pack or swam monster is cool. It's also awesome that the subspecies instead of combining she uses her seltas as cannon balls. Qurupeco has to happen, it's been too long. So many new monsters that you could give him calls for. I like anjanath but he can take a break. He was in World and Rise. His subspecies was also fun but in World they took too long to ramp up. Gogmazios need to be the final title update to the expansion. none of this "just put another fatalis in and call it a day" shit. It was fun in Iceborne but don't wast the final slot for the next 2 games by just putting in the other 2 fatalis. Vaal needs more moves, he's awesome but he needs to be more of a threat. Make him more aggressive, i feel like they made his fight and nerfed him into the dirt because they were scared of his debuff. Blackvale was fine. We also need namielle back, hopefully with weapon redesigns because most of them were bone models, same with vaal's weapons. Nakarkos would be awesome, give him different monster parts and attacks based on the roster of the game he's in, if his usual ones are missing, or give him more weapons and have him swap often.
Ya for World at least theres a great concept art book. I found some of the MH4 monsters on an old Capcom page where they introduced them. The Wikis also have some pictures on them. The rest I found on google :)
the problem with all coral highlands and rotten vale monsters is that they are so specialized for that environment that its unlikely that they will reappear again, like paolumu I could see in a mountainous area, tzitzi MAYBE, but I doubt odogaron, vaal hazak, radobaan, and both girros and great girros will return due to them being so specialized for the vale
I feel like odogoron could work in some aspects. It's a scavenger so it theoretically could live anywhere where there's killed flesh. There could also be a case for Girros as well Radobaan is definitely a tough sell since it's whole gimmick is covering itself in monster bones. Val hazak however has the potential to get a pass since it's an elder dragons that covers itself in flesh. Flesh itself wouldn't be hard to come by. There could be an argument that the flesh covering Val is enough to produce the effluvium it controls.
I would choose: Gammoth Mizutsune Glavenus Astalos Valtrax(the original not the variation from Rise) Zamtrios Malfestio and his red deviant Odogaron Gore/Shagaru Magala Amatsu Namielle Ahtal-Ka with a new Mechagodzilla suit Lagiacrus 😢
*Mom enters the room* The girl on video says : I Want to be flashed by him again lol 1:15 But I get it, I tzitzi is pretty cool, he helped me a lot with some monsters
my list: bosarios / gravios ( cant have one w/o the other ), hermitaur and cenetaur, dah ren moran, shen gaoren, ankator, ukalanos, and nercycala ( yes i've probably butchered every name on the list, but that's no diffrent from what i do to the monsters themselves. lol )
Honestly for the 20th anniversary coming and going without a game they should add ALL the monsters But yeah some of the flagships should take a break (zinogre is so oversaturated) Also the black god and white god akantor and ukanlos should return for sure Also I want deviljho back I missed him in rise Heck give me all the brute wyverns and new brute wyverns and I’ll be happy
We want lagiacrus! Just preferably in a game with under water combat :) You can be sure he gets on that list the moment they announce underwater for wilds :)
I'm not really a fan of gigginox as if you equip poison resistance it's fight is honestly not that good, just annoying with how it jumps on the ceiling. if they rework it, i am open to it returning. Gammoth is a must for me, it was my favourite of the fated four, plus if its in wilds they could make one that is insanely large, or bring back Elder Frost as it was meant to be bigger but Gammoth was already the size limit for area fights, so having one that is twice the size would be really fun to hunt as you would have to use the elevation in the map your advantage. plus i want to see a turf war where gammoth just hunts tigerex across the map and will kill it for you. With the herd mechanic i would like to see Vespoid Queen, it could summon like 20-30 of them and you would need to deal with them whilst dealing with the big one, they go down quickly but it can status you, so you can choice to risk it or deal with the littles ones but enrage the queen.
I want my friends to be able to exist in my world as cutsxenes roll im so worried that its only sos co op ! I want to be able to customise my palicos voice so they are not horrible whinning bitches like the handler! @@nothingtoseehere309 oh c'mon glavenus comeback since world, I want to fight mizutsune
@@henrydrago mizu was in rise tho, which is the more recent game
*Mom enters the room*
The girl on video says : I Want to be flashed by him again lol 1:15
But I get it, I tzitzi is pretty cool, he helped me a lot with some monsters
this vid gave me like a monsterhunter popularmmos vibe idk why
my list: bosarios / gravios ( cant have one w/o the other ), hermitaur and cenetaur, dah ren moran, shen gaoren, ankator, ukalanos, and nercycala
( yes i've probably butchered every name on the list, but that's no diffrent from what i do to the monsters themselves. lol )
I hate basarios so much, we can definitely go without that
Honestly for the 20th anniversary coming and going without a game they should add ALL the monsters
But yeah some of the flagships should take a break (zinogre is so oversaturated)
Also the black god and white god akantor and ukanlos should return for sure
Also I want deviljho back I missed him in rise
Heck give me all the brute wyverns and new brute wyverns and I’ll be happy
Need a pack of deviljho
Shara is a sound monster. Sound is just vibrating air.
there's only one wish for me and that is "just let it be a good game" that it.
Hot take: we bring back dalamadurr and Jhen moran
Honestly: It feels kinda criminal to not put Lagiacrus or Dalamadur on this list. But still great picks!!!
We want lagiacrus! Just preferably in a game with under water combat :) You can be sure he gets on that list the moment they announce underwater for wilds :)
O - DO - GA - RON !
Yes
gog is not a siege monster for one very simple reason, there is no outpost health to cause a failure state, only his own health
Real people want the pets system to return. GIVE ME MY PETS CAPCOM
Two birds discussing monsters. Endemic life predicts apex predators. It's kinda weird.
TBH we'd be suprised if Gammoth doesn't make it back, so fingers crossed :)
The Vespoid Queen sounds fun as well, we all like us some insects.
We some yian ku kut love
GOG MA ZI OS
