    SPTA makes some VERY solid polishers and probably provide the most accessories of any company along with that nice case. I love my SPTA 5 inch long throw cordless DA polisher. It runs very smooth and has a lot of power. A lot of people go right for Flex or Rupes because of their strong following in the detailing community, but a value minded detailer or enthusiast could do just as well polishing with the SPTA 5 inch cordless DA along with one of these mini polishers and you'd have just about all the polishing equipment you would need to complete a very nice cut and/or polish on a vehicle. They are a perfect choice for a weekend warrior or detailing enthusiast.

    That's what I love about the new one so far, it's a torquey boy and takes a bit of effort to actually get it to stall out. I don't just mean for a cordless Chinese brand machine, I mean in general it's hard to get it to stall out if you have even a decent bit of experience and technique.

      @@BelLavoroAutoSpa I've been seeing a lot more of their stuff pop up rebranded everywhere. Their battery pump sprayer is rebranded by bigboi, and I don't know for sure but I've always noticed that the Shine Mate line of cordless polishers has a very strong resemblance to the SPTA line.
      At this point I really wish they'd make a bigger push towards marketing their own brand so less people would be tricked into paying double the price for the same thing from some other brand.

      @@BelLavoroAutoSpa Ok thanks friend. Strangely for me the old version does not stall as fast as yours even with the biggest backing plate!. The new one seems more powerful but the much thinner pads must play a role too, there must be less power dispersion, what do you think?
      I remember a meguiar's article which said to have increased the power of the DA thanks to the very thin pads. But the new SPTA must still be a little more powerful. What does the battery power figure look like? THANKS

    • @BelLavoroAutoSpa
      @BelLavoroAutoSpa  Год назад +1

      @@nicorallysport battery power is the same as the previous version, takes the same exact batteries. I can say that after recording this I did take a large 3 inch buff and shine pad that is beveled and has a 4 inch face and polished some paint with it and there was no slowing down, so it can handle larger pads with ease. I honestly don't think I will be using the thin pads that it came with much if at all.

      Do you think this could be a viable replacement for a 3 inch polisher given it comes with a 3 inch backing plate?

      @@mifadj3835 it's pretty good for spot detailing g. Does not have the same power as my corded 3 inch polisher but does very well when I only need a small area done.

    The 3mm throw stalls like crazy on my SPTA V2 mini cordless. It def cuts in rotary but also stalls a little with the 12mm throw.

    • @BelLavoroAutoSpa
      @BelLavoroAutoSpa  Год назад

      I don't even bother with the 3mm honestly, not sure why it's there. I do 12mm or rotary and yes I noticed it will stall if there is too much pressure applied.

      @@BelLavoroAutoSpa Thanks for the reply. I wanted the 3mm for less heat and less correction than a rotary would produce in tight areas.

      No US manufacturers of polishers sadly. Even if they are assembled here, parts were all still purchased from China.
