@@dumbcat you will not find any videos of any multi-rotor evtol carrying a person for longer than a few seconds in deceptively edited videos. its not possible to do what they claim. even billion dollar companies like joby and lilium are scamming.

@@thechoku9765 someone that worked there told me. she said it can't fly a fullminute with a person on it that's why they edit all the videos every few seconds and don't show full flights. they should prove it can fly.

I can imagine this, closed cockpit, with A/C, and some legs like the DJI inspire, driving in the rain above the city streets, take all my money.

why would they need pilots? have you seen what synchronized drones can do? it can't lift a pilot for 2 minutes

Though i wonder why it doesn't have a protection around the propellers, you know like a thin cylinder surrounding the edges of the blades and some kind of thin mesh grid top and bottom, or is there a good reason such as maybe not because it would reduce propulsion?
It'd add more weight, increase drag and reduce the flight time. The Jetson One already has a parachute as extra payload. So essentially, it is more dangerous to anyone near it with the open props...but more efficient.
Yep, efficiency. No other airplane or helicopter has that kind of protection for the same reason. It's up to the pilot to be safe and responsible just like for other aircraft.
it couldn't be thin if it needs to stop the inertia of that craft from hitting something or knocking it out of the way. this thing can't even fly as advertised without that extra weight and drag.
@@sirhilsam there isn't a parachute. they lie about everything. wouldn't a video of their parachute system be better than what they show? there isn't even a place it could go on that frame.
Yes they should add it. Helis don't have them because the blades are about 9ft. up when the heli's on the ground and planes don't have them because they only operate from airports which are tighly controlled areas. But this needs it because the blades are low enough to injure someone when on the ground and it's designed to fly low close to many obstacles.
U need to do mass production and need glass canopy also on this drone 😅

Jetson really needs to put coriander effect pods around the props .
Can we connect it to a docking station with wheels that essentially converts the Jetson unto a ground vehicle... or at least a trailer for easy transport

I just wish that the kind people at Jetson what have a giveaway, and or just let me fly it once, LOL, simply because I could never afford it but it's a beautiful dream machine. The Elegance is beyond reproach. It's a beautiful work of art on top of being the ultimate in personal aircraft. Here's hoping that I could win the lottery and the next you're so.

Once this hits the market, you'll see much more affordable alternatives as the design will almost surely be copied and or refined.
Similar to those Gaming Desk Chairs by DX Racer, which were $399 MSRP. a year later you could get identical copycats for less than half that made with the same materials

I would have to disagree with the slogan "everyone is a pilot". Most can not even walk and chew gum. Lol I would love to take one of those to work everyday tho. Can not wait until I can take a ride on any of these personal drones.

It looks cool but I am curious how this compares with paramotors? 100K vs 10k, 20m vs 4hrs, safety? does it have a reserve? speed? height? portability? I fly every weekend and if it could beat a paramotor I would be in but it seems its far far away in almost every specification for the moment.
Has a parachute, 20min flight time, 55-60mph max speed, about 3-5 feet tall, very portable, 190ish pounds. A paramotor would be a much better investment by far if you like solo flying
@@SyphonGaming Actually the solo flying is one of the biggest issues, a friend put a deposit down on a Jetson almost 2 yrs ago now but we realized if he ever gets it he could never fly around with us and the paramotors because of the severe wake turbulence of rotored craft. Which is a major bummer because you can see from my videos we usually fly in big tight groups of friends. The portability is a bit of an issue too, you would need a trailer to carry it, maybe 2 people to lift it off whereas I put my paramotor on a basic hitch on the back of a Prius. For height wise I was meaning how high can it go, the videos all show 5-20ft high but yesterday for example we went up to 5000ft to clear some local mountains. I want to be sold on this idea but it seems like a big stretch to even be on par with what I already have. Its going to need 10x battery power, 10x cheaper and even then it doesn't seem as convenient or safe.
@@Para_Ninja The problem with it right now is the batteries weight to performance. If it was gas then It would be so much better and can actually fly longer and higher
@@SyphonGaming it can't fly 20 minutes it can't even fly 2 full minutes with a pilot. that's why they need to edit their videos like they do.
@@Para_Ninja nobody is really going to get one. they don't even show it flying for more than 20 seconds at a time with jump cut edits. they would get in one and take us for a 20 minute flight if they could.

they can't even get 2 minutes out of it. 20 minutes is a lie. the website doesn't give the weight of a load on that claim just empty and they haven't proven it can fly empty for 5 minutes

Building the vehicle is the easy part. Building the infrastructure for average Joe to safely use Is the hard part.
building a multirotor evtol vehicle that can fly for 3 minutes isn't easy there isn't any proof its even possible. why would they need to build infrastructure for them? what would they need? it would go in the sky and should be able to land on the grass or sidewalk. why would they need infrastructure and how would that make them safer?
