Someone once said “we’ve had flying cars for years, they’re called helicopters.” The problem is that they’re incredibly loud and fuel inefficient; generating the amount of lift necessary to lift a human and a vehicle is going to be loud, there’s no way around it, and they’ll never be allowed to cities or neighborhoods.

A remarks on the flying cars in general.
A flying car can fly. Fly over high mountains and sea, and land on an airfield and then drive over all existing roads in the world. Compare that footprint on a map.
This is essentially different compared to other transport. (train, car, plane). The transport envelope is much, much greater and very finely meshed.
The technical challenges of building are high, however. Flying mass, folding mechanisms, and road and air legislation togheter in a limited size and for an appropriate price.
The price is compensated by the transport envelope, which is really unlimited.
The A5 seaplane sells a holyday dream, a 2 seat electrical flying drone cannot drive over the highway with 130 km/h, a flying car sells real useable transport.
Hence it is another class. Only the moon is out of reach.
So: Think out of the box.

If you think _this_ is cool, I’ve got a *sweet* bridge for sale if you’re interested…
Rhetorical question: How many years can they _“Sold out. Maybe next year…”_ before the layperson starts getting suspicious?
In their defence, they do have a clever marketing/communication strategy: Tell the same outlandish lie enough times, until people (like Forbes) start repeating it. Then, other people start repeating Forbes. Once you have enough people talking, they basically just start re-tweeting each other, the story grows by itself, and Jetson can say _“It’s not my fault these people are lying, I never told them to say that…”_
Fraudulent business practices aside, I’m awe-struck there has been no criminal investigation of these people. And this isn’t their only “company.”
