Oh shoot he has AirPods on he can't hear us
iTripReport lol
Hey I have a flight on a b737-900er soon, what first class seat do you recommend I don’t know which one to chose
iTripReport Do you use earplugs when flying...do your ears hurt at all ?
O no
ITripReport thank you for the upload and info, I am wondering about the seat? How tall are you? Wondering if it's really uncomfortable for a person who's 6'3"?
taking a flight on united's 737-900 in 10 days, thanks for posting!
Same here. It was nice to see everything (like the drink menu) in a recent video. Well done!
Susan was just trying to be nice... 😂😂
😂
If there is one thing you can't beat from this flight was the wingflex, the split scimitars, the beautiful scenery of San Diego, and the food. I think this was a really brilliant flight. The 737NG is my favorite narrowbody aircraft and I have to give Delta's 737-900ER a try, but I don't mind for United either, even though they always send their 737-700s and 737-800s over sometimes, the -900 rarely comes unless I haven't noticed yet. Nice video man!
I think that this video got rid of my anxiety, and I thank you for that.
2:40 I wish all airlines gave aircraft and route information, It's a small detail but really makes the difference for people who love aviation
I am taking the exact same flight with this exact same plane on March. I’m moving to Houston from San Diego! First time on a plane too. Super excited, it looks so nice!
Very cool! How was your flight and experience??
Aww I want the old intro music Back D:
Hmm coincidence? I’m flying from San Diego to Dulles (Washington D.C.) with United on a 737-900 in Economy with 35A, 35B, and 35C
On 13:11, you can see a southwest 737-700 in the distance
Good catch!
In the new livery
beep beep traffic traffic
Is it just me or when flying with United you always feel like your connection time is never enough at IAH
Versa46 _ when I had a 12 hour layover because of a canceled flight, it’s long enough.
I flew from Seattle to Houston and connection time to leon was 5 hours 🥳
Awesome video man! Keep up the good quality content man! 😎
I like the 737-900. sharp looking jet that reminds me of the classic 707. That being said I think the Boeing 757 is the best!
Liked because of The Office clip.
Best. Show. Ever.
;) great video!
I flew on this plane from Bogota to IAH in January... it was very nice... crew said it was it's second flight.... we were on time, with nice staff.... good food... and nice overall...
7:15-7:20 trust me that's the last thing you're going to want to do lol
Nice video mate. Going to Cancun from LAX in a few days on UA 737-900. Thanks.
I see you, with that Chase Private Client card, now I know your semi wealthy 😂 This explains why you can fly so often. Love your videos!
I’ll be on a United 737-900 in a few weeks out of IAH myself.
This lavatory is actually the newer lavatory, but is only installed as a retrofit on older planes. The dreaded Collins lavatory is actually the older lavatory because the Collins lavatory has been installed on brand new 737s since 2014, but United didn't start retrofitting old 737s until 2015.
I had to laugh at the snow in Houston bit, that really aged like milk.
1:31 doggo
Yes
I flew that interior on a United 737-800 a few years ago, absolutely hated it. Thankfully it was only a 90 minute flight from LAX to Denver. I've mostly heard that United's -900s are torture chambers no matter which interior you get. However, I've heard great things about their MAX 9, most notably 18 inch wide seats on a 737, which is unheard of, and at least Southwest/Alaska levels of legroom. Would prefer AVOD in the seatback, but that DirecTV IFE on that old United interior was crapola. I fully expect PDE to become the norm for narrowbodies on US carriers going forward. At least there is some form of IFE. The MAX 8s that Norwegian is flying transatlantic have NO IFE AT ALL, and Spirit/Frontier levels of legroom.
I've ridden on United 737-900s that had DirecTV in them and I was using it during the flight especially everyone else cuz they override the system so that everyone can use it. It only happens on rare occasions
United is my favorite airline
I love United
Nice video! Honest review👍
Another wonderful review. I’ll fly on a United 737-900 to Kona next week.
how was the flight? We area heading back home from Kona to LAX in July.
Nice review. I will be flying united 737-900 from msp to ORD and ORD to San Fran in July. This gives me an idea of what to expect.
When he said “I was hoping it was actually going to snow”
I thought to myself “How many times has he been to Houston?”
It’s once in a blue moon we get snow and if we get one snowflake fall, we freak out
Cool video dude!
Another great review. I love how United provide IFE to passengers, certainly wish European airlines would follow suit.
Nice video. I flew on the N75410 from PBI-EWR back in 2012. Seems rare to find the non-ER 900s flying to/from anywhere other than Houston these days.
You did well on United. They didn't beat you up or
break your guitar.
That new Mortal Kombat map is AWESOME!
Yeah I only worry about the branding. definitely what to look for 1st.
I am actually surprised that -900 can take off on SAN's short runway, though they may not be able to carry enough fuel to reach the east coast flying out of there. I know that -900s can't fly into Maui because they can't get off the ground in Maui with enough fuel to reach the US mainland, even -800s end up using ALL the runway to get out of Maui.
I’m taking this exact plane to TPA from Houston tomorrow
I love your videos 😊
In May, I got to fly a brand new 737 to Bogota... that was very nice as well....
I’ll be flying from Fort Lauderdale to San Francisco in 3 weeks. I’m dreading the long flight. Hopefully that plane has screens. It’s a 737-900
Thanks for the video. My son just flew from LA to WA on one of these. Was curious what it looked like inside.
THANKS..YOU.......GOOD SERVICE...GOOD PRICE FROM BOISE IDAHO
12:03 it says "fuck you" on his computer. But I would agree seatback entertainment is so much better I will immediately use it if I see it
XDDD
West to East, no wonder the Sun was going down so fast. How fast are they?
Great video! I recently flew on an American A321 and it was horrible! But ur lucky u get to travel a lot.
This seat model is also a B/E Aerospace Pinnacle! It's a more modified version though.
7:15
iTripReport: Gonna have to try the Air Canada MAX soon
**MCAS:** hold my beer--
Love San Diego 😍
12:22 he's an angry elf
Lol
Amazing.
Ok, mo opinion is to get rid of there old TVs and replace it with new hd large screen TVs like the United 787-10 has
I've flown this plane a lot and I like it a lot better than their 737-800's.
Also at 12:03 at the bottom of his laptop it says F*CK YOU
lol nice catch man!
Great trip review I flew the same one and honestly I was dissatisfied with the legroom
I saw your flight leaving SAN!
Oh God , I love stay in the airplane so much. So I hope , that I'll be in plane ever again.😍
Did anyone notice at 9:43 the guuchi shoes
United app says this aircraft have power outlet in all rows, I even saw a tiny sign saying” power outlet between seats” on each seat back, but I couldn’t find the outlet! I wanted to ask a flight attendance but with COVID they don’t come around that often, and the lady sit next to me doesn’t speak any language I could speak, that’s why I came to this video and now I just got even more confused because you said the outlet only available in row 1-21. Then why did they claim otherwise in their app? Why bother to put the sign on every single seat??? I sit in row 28 btw.
I never knew United had IFE screens on 737's
I wish it would show how the seat reclines, so one could see if its okay to sleep in it
Yeah go give the max a try.. very great idea
That plane is as old as i am
Good video but why keep shooting with that glare at the end? Unnecessary.
I will be flying next June to Rivera maya from Houston as right now the round trip it’s 440 dlls in United , do you think if I wait more the ticket price will go up even more?
I like all our United planes. Only one I wouldn't mind seeing go is CRJ 200 & that doesn't actually belong to United. It's one of the regional skywest airplanes. I'll take our ERJ 145 over the CRJ 200.
How much did the IFE card swipe cost?
I will be flying Basic economy to the Caribbean in a couple of days. I was wondering about the overhead for your carry on. is it big enough? Thanks for posting
So its not only the 737- Maxs that have double sharklets?
Btw it’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, named after George HW Bush, not W. Bush.
Aren’t the exit isle seats supposed to be some of the better seats. Looked like no one reserves those seats on that screenshot early in the vid. How come. Take my first flight on this plane in June. Very curious.
Were those shark fins beneath main winglets like 737 max series added afterwards or originally built
Hey Emiliano, when you book your flight on United online, how are you supposed to know that the aircraft you’re gonna fly on for the flight has directv available? Plus do you book your flight from sites like Expedia or kayak or do you book them from the United website?
They do have headphones I glued today on the morning back from Maui they had black headphones for free
I just flew UAL 737-900 from CLE to SFO and there were no TVs. The flight was over 5 hours too. Why would they use the planes with DirectTV for flights that are only 2-3 hours long?
United’s 737-900 fleet has many aircraft with non-direct TV and a few with Direct TV, they are all just mixed into the system, so none are set into an exact route
The aircraft without direct tv usually have personal entertainment.
Ascot Berks yes, all of UA’s aircrafts provide personal entertainment. Also WiFi available for purchase. It’s just frustrating to see no seat back TV screen for a 6 hour flight, when it’s clearly available for a 2 hour flight. I used to work for United. They are confused and don’t know what the hell they’re doing.
So is it that all the 900 non ERs have the old square 1st class seats while all the ERs have rounder 1st class seats?
Dang you are barely going to leon meanwhile I was already sadly leaving tommorow.
I'll be fly 4 different UA flights. this flight Im 34A seat.
Cuando abra un video de JetBlue quiero saber tu opinión a mi me gusta lo e usado 3 veces ida y vuelta a !!! LAX a New York !!
Tengo dos, uno en su clase Mint y otro en su A320 (el mismo que tuvo el accidente hace años).
In the description it says "Phoenix San Diego "
Seems almost illogical to fly to Leon via IAH when it would be easier to fly a Mexican carrier due south and connect somewhere within Mexico unless there is a nonstop San Diego-Leon routing--you've flown out of Tijuana previously, why not from there to Leon,if possible? Not having a laptop nor a smartphone,I'm in favor of complimentary seatback IFE;s. IAH is my home airport, you arrived from the east,IAH is only about a half-hour south of my residence.During the preflight announcements, there was a 20 minute difference in flight times--the captain said 2:34,the FA said 2:54 and was surprised when the captain mentioned 'snow showers'! True, the Houston area can get chilly during the winter but if we had snow showers, the area would almost come to a standstill! Surprised you didn't fly United's premium economy product--have you or would you attempt to book Basic Economy?
14:28 *this aged well*
How tall are you?. I’m 5’10” and on my return trip I’m flying basic economy next week saturday and trying to decide if I should upgrade to economy plus
I have a question....i have to book a flight to TPA connecting in IAH. I arrive at IAH at 5am and I am arriving from an international destination and I have 2 hours to clear customs and probably shift terminals and go through TSA pre check.. do you think 2 hours is enough time to do this connection?
Didn't United introduce free snacks in Feb 2016?
So, there was no USB port for charging, huh?
How long it took you to exit the plane from your seat?
I have the seat behind in in June. Now I'm certain I don't have a window😭
6:52 lmaoooooooo
I am almost 100% sure this is the 737-800. I have flown on the 737-900 many times and they don’t have TV’s and the cabin is just much more modern. You sure?
Thats because you've flown on post 2012 built 739s, all aircraft built before 2013 have direct TV and all aircraft built after 2012 have sky interior.
iTripReport Guess you are right. Can’t argue with the one that actually flew on the plane.
do you have any airline statuses or do you just go with the cheapest ticket?
WHEN A BIRD ENTERS. INTO A MOTOR YOU MUST FIND THE CLOSEST DESLER SHIP TO ARRIVE FOR SAFETY PROTOCOL
The only plane I'll fly one,
My favorate cabins are 1970s-late early 200Os
In 2023 the brand new cabins look boring and uncomfortably annoying looking. 737 max dreamliner there just not my old classics. Not to mention lack of proffesional crew and passengers. No thanks.....this cabin and flight crew passengers was to my liking it look pleasant and nice. I like the fact that this main overall cabin was not updated. Its original back to 2000. Classic....
I flew a continental 737-823 series red eye flight Sea Tac to IAH in June 2009 im sure that a/c was assimulatwd into United like the rest. I remember the Inflight Manager upon boarding in Seattle was grumpy rude to all of us non welcoming "during the merger" ofcourse, that cabin looked identically to this one just a little shorter being the 800
On 10:36, you forgot to put the o on nobody
When you have 40min connection do you have to go through TSA again?
no
United is removing the personal entertainment systems, I sat in first class on a flight to CUN and the place where the screen would be was poorly boarded up with a metal panel where the systems had once been.
we offer earphones on aircraft equipped with direct-tv :) just ask!
@Nick Brown Even on international :)
Also, how do you access the free movie channels?
@itripreport is the direct tv free?
I’m very surprised that you call that leg room doable
Can you take portable phone charger packs on the plane?
yes! I've never had an issue bringing them, as long as theyre not massive.
