How is the reclining? Is it enough to get restful sleep during a red-eye?
I've heard the same thing about the waffles in other videos. I've come to think they are liege style Belgian waffles. Those are the ones with large granules baked in and are often irregularly shaped like that as well. Due to how airline food is reheated, the sugar probably melts completely and goes throughout the waffle. Adding anything, especially sugared fruit toppings, would indeed make it a diabetics worst nightmare if that is the case. 😅😅 But as you said, they ARE good! 😉😉
Better than AA new planes who don't have none of that. (Which doesn't mean I would not fly in them). The Max 9 is a very nice plane for fly specially when you use the correct things inside. Excellent video!

I thought the NEXT first class had the winged first class seats. These here just look regular. I wonder why they didn’t add the winged seats to this interior I like that look. This here look the same as the old first class seats. They just have tv screens now 😢. Also surprised they did a full breakfast on such a short flight. That’s pretty neat. Do you know if breakfast was also served in economy?
These seats are still the ‘NEXT’ seats. The winged First Class seats are only featured in their renovated A319. More of those seats will be installed to more aircraft soon.
@@standbycolinI edited my comment but I’d add the question here. Do you know if they served full breakfast in economy as well? I think it’s cool they served a full breakfast for such a short flight.
@@_1Brick1_ Unfortunately they do not offer breakfast in Economy. They did a standard service with a small snack and drink as well as snack boxes for purchase.
@@standbycolinhaha ok. I thought United had a mileage cut off when it comes to full service. I guess your route cut it pretty close and made it. That’s cool.
Unfortunately, due to supplier issues and the fact that older seats are not depreciated, NEXT is a set of features, not a consistent cabin design. Many of UA’s 737-900s and a handful of their -800s will get a repadded seat with IFE and new power ports, but they will have the old seat bones
Is this your first time doing a trip report on United?
Yes! The last time I flew United was back in 2018 so It was nice to finally fly on them again!
40 minutes to board? With the new boarding scheme? That seems worse, not better.
Well we have to be patient. The important is that we are flying to our destination.

Domestic first class is a rip off
Not having live sports is utter garbage!!!!!
