This past December when I flew Allegiant Air from Sanford, FL, to Ohio. While in Sanford, pulling out of the gate, we returned to terminal cause of a serious maintenance issue regarding a bad indicator with a fuel leak, and yet fire trucks were involved. Luckily Allegiant put us on a new plane to bring us to northern Ohio.

Not sure I understand why you called it the worst United flight you ever had? The flight itself seemed to be without any problems. You arrived in Houston safely. I don't know why you expected breakfast to be served on a mid-afternoon flight. You said most of the passengers re-booked onto other flights. Yet, you chose to wait out the 8 hour delay, so how is that United's fault? I'm surprised the flight wasn't canceled. You got a complimentary upgrade to Business Class too. I have to agree that food vouchers and $75 is unacceptable.

8 hour delay? I'm surprised they didn't cancel or potentially reroute you thru O'Hare or Dulles. And Chicago probably didn't have the part in question, Houston was probably the closest hub city that did.
They could’ve also flown it in from MCO (a UA maintenance base) on the next FedEx flight into Indy.
I took this route before heading to Europe and ended up puking on the flight lol

Can you help me? I have several questions. I am a frequent British Airways traveler in economy class, but I have decided that for this trip I will take a one-way trip in economy class and for the return trip in business class. My question is for the return, the check-in area will be in the club europe zone? And as for the luggage, it tells me that I can carry 2 suitcases of 32kg, can I carry a suitcase of 64kg? And the last question, will I have access to the VIP area at both airports (I have a stopover at Heathrow)?
You can't combine the weight. Each bag is max 32kg (for your business segment)(Economy limited to 23kg free). Bags over 32kg are just not accepted period.

United's seats are UGLY, depressing, ugly faded dark gray/blue. Recline snack box is nasty - a box of salt and sugar, whoever thought of that stupid idea

You are right, problems do happen with planes but how the airline handles it makes all the difference in the world and just your food fiasco alone is one of the main reasons, UA will always be my last choice. Continental Airlines screwed their customers by merging with UA because UA destroyed the service reputation CO had built up over the years! Oh well, good thing there are choices that can be had!!!!!
