Nice view of Mt. Rainier. @13:00, you can also see Mt. Adams to left of Rainier & Mt. St. Helens to its right. Then @13:20, you can see Mt. St. Helens again...
I've flown this route before. It's surprisingly long. Anyway, nice trip report in United First. Unlike the first class seat I had in Alaska, at least these seats have IFE. I also like you can pre-order meals.
Actually, United many years ago was the dominant carrier in Seattle but sort of got squeezed out by Alaska. Northwest Orient(Delta) was also fairly dominant along with Western! Scotch is my drink of choice. The airlines used to offer Cutty Sark which was sort fazed out by Dewers, which still is the most dominant offering however, if you are traveling international, Glenmorangie, if you can find it, is really one of the top Scotches. I will never forget flying economy on Continental(pre merger with UA) to Edinburgh and had already been served Dewers and had asked for another one when the flight attendant bent over and asked me if I wanted any of the "good stuff" and of course, I agreed, and she brought me my first Glenmorangie and my fate was sealed. I was lucky enough to find it on many of my international flights thereafter, but then all of a sudden, Dewers, became the main Scotch but fortunately, I was able to find Glenmorangie sold here in AZ, so I just had it here! Thanks for the memories!
Thank you for another beautiful video the.scenery was super l was happy that you had your famous mimosa but the ptv was a little too small the food was ok cheers jerry
My go to in FC on UAL is Buffalo Trace boubon and ginger ale. They make it those tall glasses. Coffee and Bailey’s if I just want one cocktail. Thanks for the video
Great video. Loved all the information you provided along the way. I wish they'd offer scrambled with sausage, biscuit and hash browns. Don't try to get all fancy cause you can't carry that off. I worked with a lady that commuted to Houston weekly and she always brought me a biscuit or two from United's BusinessFirst. They were very good. #UNITED
It’s pretty sad that whoever wrote the menu didn’t realize that they are BELGIAN waffles and not Belgium waffles. Plus, like most meals on US airlines, it looked pretty pathetic.
On takeoff at IAH, that is a LOT of weight to be moving--the fuel load for a 5hr flight, baggage, perhaps a full cabin, the aircraft weight of itself--your bladder got a workout--OJ, vodka cranberry, mimosa AND a Coke! Did you squeeze in a nap while zipping along? I'm going to guess you're flying Emirates from SEA simply because UA is of the Star Alliance and guessing Emirates belongs as well--the other ME company would be Qatar but they are of the oneworld alliance--so if you're trying for a mileage run, why not stick with airlines that belong to the same alliance? What layover time did you have?
thanks for sharing your vids. it is Asian airlines serves a very good food and a good service compared to western airlines ( SORRY FOR COMPARISON) But it's really true.. you always have two thumbs up for me.. awesome..
That looked more like a biscuit than a waffle. There was a time that United had a large operation at Seattle, taking up maybe the whole north satellite. Then they consolidated at SFO.
😂United 737-900 is the biggest joke first class out there at least delta has working IFE not ones with repeating explorer card ads over and over. I wonder why United retro fits the 737-800 but nothing on their 900s?
I always thought they were going to retro fit all the narrow bodies? But yeah some of the 737’s definitely show their age. The credit card pitches get very old.
Don't forget to like and subscribe for more videos. :)

Yep! The Pacific Northwest is so beautiful! :)
Best flight reporter, I love when you do the types of flights.
Thank you for the kind words! :)
Loved the take off! Nice work!
Thank you! :)

I'm glad that United is updated their interiors, as yeah, that PTV is way too small. lol Cheers!

That’s an interesting combination (Bourbon + Ginger Ale), I’m going to try it. Thanks for the suggestion! :)

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah I wished they offered more variety in their breakfast options.

It’s united what do you expect
Hah! I didn't even notice...maybe that's why they look so...different? :D lol thanks for watching!

Yeah it definitely did not look like one. Lol
Ah, interesting history of United!
That was the biscuits and gravy. I’m not sure why but the poster is confused.
Old vid good vid, new ones please 😅😊😊😊😊.
Thank you! Trying to, I don't fly a whole lot but I am trying to. :D
"Puget" not "Pudget"
Whoops!
Delta is so much better
That's first class ?????? Not in Asia, nope. No way
Yes, unfortunately that is what we usually experience in the US. It usually is a good motivator to fly other airlines :D thanks for watching!

Your spelling needs work Bro...
Yeah I've been using a spell checker lately (software I used doesn't have one lol)
United's catering is really terrible.
It's been hit or miss lately for me.
