Excellent job on this vlog. Completely agree with your comments re the media and their dramatic reporting. A cynical game they play. Love your content and the low key nature of the vlog. Great shot of Manhattan as your flight taxied to the stand
Thanks for the interesting video. I may have missed something on the rating system, but how were cabin ambience and onboard amenities rated so low, even though the plane had the new mood lighting, updated IFE, and large overhead bins that mean almost everyone’s bags will fit? DL has a great onboard product too, but AA removed seatback screens from all planes and WN never had them to begin with. Just want to make sure I didn’t miss anything. Thanks again!
Hey! A lot of these ratings are just personalized… there’s not much scientific judgement to it! But I agree DL and UA have a great onboard product and AA is falling beind!
Great video mate, I agree with all your comments regarding the 737 Max aircraft. I've never had any issues or cause to feel unsafe when I've flown on them and I agree that the media have caused so much unnecessary hype regarding this aircraft. Not saying that these safety issues don't need addressing, but to legally go on a witch hunt regarding every small issue is ridiculous, it's almost like the media are trying to destroy Boeing.
I also think the media is exaggerating a lot. Look, is true that the doar blow off, but the plane didn't turn into thousands pieces, nor didn't blow in the air. Aviation is more safer now than ever and all this aircrafts have goes from decades of upgrading and security to make the least possibility of an accident. If it wasn't because Boeing didn't make sure the bolts were tie well, none of this would happen and the max would have been continuing flying like it was continuing to be. Also that United it self was having it hard in maintaining their planes. But well, awesome video!
In 1961 a Book named "Fate is the Hunter" was published written by an ex Airline Pilot Ernest K. Gann. In the Book he recounts many Aircraft incidents and accidents and how they are rarely caused by one specific thing, rather a series of them that led to the outcome. I live in Wichita, Ks where that fuselage was built that the plug door blew out of and I am a Licensed Aircraft Mechanic and worked in aviation maintenance for 38 years. I knew Boeing selling the Wichita facility was a tragic mistake when it happened. Everything that occured on that 737 was the result of the holes lining up in the Swiss Cheese model of human error. Boeing and Spirit Aero Systems screwed the pooch on that one and it is a miracle no one died.
The Maintenance Issues are great, but Media does report bogus things to get a story out. All Airlines should in fact maintenance should be conducted on all airlines to ensure pure safety is adhered to.
Its what I thought; sometimes being a sophisticated teen is a bit ..well. But Luke does fantastic trip reports and does what I don't have courage to do even though I fly a lot to be with my sketchy family life
Great video but I truly think the Boeing issue is serious, potentially deadly and needs to be dealt with. Its more important than an industry or inconveniences
Great video I’ve flown the max 8 several times quite enjoyable
Tell me, how are you incredibly underrated? The algorithm is outrageous.
Yes lmao. I’m hoping to get more viewers soon!
Great video man! And having that surprise guest at the end was a fun way to cap off the travel experience 😂
