I’m not Jewish but have been researching and so interested in the faith all of my life. How long does a lady stay in the bath? Is that structures by Jewish law? And is it monthly because it’s geared around a woman’s cycle?
There are several longer mikvah experiences shared on RUclips. Just put mikvah in the search engine window. _Jew In The City_ or _Mayyim Hayyim_ would be channels to learn more (that's what I found, anyway). I'm not Jewish but those testimonies made me wish that _I_ could use a mikvah, at least once. 😊
@@thekingsdaughter4233 Thank you so much!! I am a baptized in the water Christian and I love learning about all of God’s children and how they worship and honor Him! Happy New Year!

You shower or bathe at the mikvah before going in and you have to scrub all over and wash your hair before going in. Even taking off your nail polish. Then you walk out in a robe or towel, take it off then get in the pool you see here. You quickly submerge 3 times. Then you're out. The water is heated and treated with chemicals like a pool or spa. It isn't a bath, it is more like a dunk. The attendant is there to make sure you fully submerge. Just like when Christians are baptized, they aren't bathing, this is similar. It is a spiritual cleansing in line with our cycles.

Why are you attacking nitpicking a renovated modern Jewish Mikvah as a Christian? Not very Jesus-like to throw stones. Most Christian temples are luxurious, i in the sense the buildings’ architecture is extremely unnecessarily tall, full of expensive decorations and stained glass. All sacred places by all religions are symbols of the religion and are made to look nice.

Hey bud you realize there were animal sacrifices until Jesus came. Then He was the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. Since that time there have been no blood offerings for sin. For a reason. What is covering your sins? Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. The old testament your Bible says so.
Love the kippah with a sunflower on it!
Def not just the Hasidic Jewish community but all orthodox communities.
Hi, Jewish ppl who see this! I do not know you guys, but I LOVE YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU!!!
