Do you know the black coffee benefits and advantages of black coffee? Coffee has so many proven health benefits it's hard to list them all. That's why this video will cover the benefits of black coffee, risks, and health facts behind it.
Did you know that over 400 billion cups of black coffee are consumed every year?
Coffee, also known around my house as liquid gold, is the second most traded commodity in the world, only behind oil.
I’m going to show you the benefits of black coffee, and the advantages of having a daily cup of joe.
I will also finish with some short FAQs about the best times to drink coffee, how much per day is ok, and how much is too much.
When people say coffee is bad for you, they often point to a few things…
    Insomnia.
    Dehydration
    & Adrenal fatigue
Insomnia is usually a result of drinking coffee too early. Since effects can last up to 10 hours after drinking, simply stop drinking coffee before noon and you should be fine
Dehydration - Yes coffee is a natural diuretic, but this problem is cured by drinking more water. Which you should be doing anyway…
And Adrenal fatigue - This is not even a real medical condition. Anyone spouting this sort of nonsense doesn’t deserve your time or attention.
Here are the proven benefits of drinking coffee backed by scientific studies
    1. Coffee can help you burn fat
Black coffee has been shown to boost metabolism by up to 11% and dramatically increase fat-burning potential. Other studies have even shown that the rate of fat being burned while drinking caffeine can improve by 10% in obese individuals and by 29% in lean individuals.
    2. Coffee helps you exercise better
Black coffee has been proven to be one of the most effective supplements ever for improving exercise output.
Drinking coffee causes a spike in adrenaline and causes an increase in exercise performance by around 11-12%.
    3. Your heart seems to like it
Drinking up to 2 cups of coffee per day can reduce the risk of heart failure by 11%.
    4. Coffee can make you smarter
It enhances the firing of neurons in the brain and has been shown to improve various brain functions including mood, energy levels, reaction time, memory, and general cognitive function.
    5. Coffee contains an incredible amount of antioxidants
These antioxidants help fight free radicals in the body, and scientists have identified approximately 1,000 different antioxidants in the coffee bean alone.
    6. Coffee drinkers have a lower risk of cancer
Astonishingly, black coffee has actually shown to lower the chances of getting liver cancer by up to 40%! Also, a study with over 400,000 members showed that people who consumed coffee had a lowered risk of rectal cancer by 15%.
    7. Coffee contains essential nutrients the body loves
One cup of coffee contains nutrients like riboflavin, potassium, magnesium, and others.
While the volume of the nutrients it contains will not blow you away, if you drink 3 cups like the average American adult, you will be getting in a steady source of vital nutrients for your body (study).
Just another of the many black coffee benefits!
    8. Coffee can help fight depression
Most people are unaware of the fact that over 17.5 million people (just in America alone) suffer from some form of depression, and it’s growing every year.
Drinking coffee has been shown to lower the risk of developing depression by 20% for women.
It has also been shown that those who drink 4 cups a day are 53% less likely to commit suicide than those who don’t.
How much per day is ok?
A short rule of thumb is 2 cups a day is fine, 3 cups a day is good, and 4 cups a day should be the absolute max.
Oh, finally, drink your coffee black. Most of the specialty drinks at coffee shops are calorie nightmares and are basically glorified milkshakes. Drinking it coffee black takes some time to get used to, but just like an acquired taste to wine, it gets better with time.
Hope you enjoy this presentation of the advantages of coffee and the black coffee benefits that are provided.

The part about drinking black coffee taking time to get used to is true as hell. A few months ago, I had my first cup of black coffee and I thought it was way too strong for me as I was used to having it with milk and sugar, but now, I only drink coffee black haha. Great video.

I was never much of a coffee drinker. In fact I avoided it completely. But since last year November I decided to try drinking more coffee after reading how many benefits it has. And I don't take sugar in any of my drinks and I don't drink juice or fuzzy drinks so I tried black coffee without sugar and I actually enjoyed from the first cup. Now I always make sure I have at least 1 cup of black coffee a day

I love that you include the scientific studies that you reference in your videos. I have a lot of trouble subscribing to nutritionists, health gurus, doctors, etc. on RUclips because they never use science to back their statements up. Usually, what they are saying is a bunch of crap, and a lot of people are being lead astray. I really appreciate what you're doing.

Since you loved this video, you may also want to know that there's research out there saying that coffee makes heart and vessel disease (cardiovascular disease) worse because it raises LDL cholesterol, but that’s not the whole story! We now know that LDL particles can either be large and buoyant, or small and dense. When LDL particles are large and buoyant, they can help decrease risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD). And coffee can transition LDL particles from small and dense to large and buoyant, decreasing CVD risk!

It does help her with headaches or migraines. The depression thing for my mom and me is not with the coffee, it’s with my grandmother.

Thanks for sharing. I love coffee, I drink it, but I have to share that as it is a diuretic it is classed as an antinutrient by nutritionists, it depletes the body of minerals, especially magnesium which is essential for many functions in the body, one main one being, for nerve transmission = nerve signalling. Although it does contain some magnesium, if your drinking more than 3 cups a day, you will become mineral deficient.
So although I love coffee, I think limiting it to one a day and being cautious of mineral deficiencies is really important, if, in doubt supplement magnesium, most of us are deficient anyways due to soil depletion. Stick to organic if you can, after all, coffee is a plant - a berry, hence the antioxidants, and has many health benefits if used properly and not abused. Too much of anything healthy becomes unhealthy. I couldn't get through my degree without it.

@@LucrativePerson I see, thank you for sharing. If you want to, you could look into Matcha and see if that might be a better option for caffeine. Matcha not only contains caffeine but also L-theanine, L-theanine makes the caffeine be absorbed slower and L-theanine by itself if you were to buy it as a supplement and took it, could help with anxiety. But in the end, it is in your hands to see if it would benefit you, since caffeine is wanted or consumed for a reason or reasons.

try this = drink black coffee every morning(ofc drink water first) male sure it's pure black coffee, no creamer or sugar, just the coffee itself for 2 weeks, then stop drinking it for 2 weeks, coz our body will get used to it and the benefits will not be as effective as it once was.

Is black coffee more beneficial without sugar? Also, can you give me tips about how men can lose estrogen in their body?

    • @tmcdubs316
      @tmcdubs316 6 лет назад

Men will always have low amounts of estrogen. Just as much as women will always have testosterone. In very small amounts. But there are things that men do to increase production of estrogen and it is usually attributed to age and/or too low of testosterone levels. Exercise and eat healthy, find a diet that is rich in healthy carbs, healthy fats and moderate protein and test levels should balance out. If test levels are dramatically low and estrogen levels are dramatically high and do not change with diet and exercise or you have tried everything and nothing works, there is something called HRT (hormone replacement therapy). That is usually reserved for men and women that are 60+ and their bodies can no longer release hormones but can be used in younger people if all the cards stack right (or wrong, in this case) Hope this helps!
