No. It’s only for holding till expiry. It’s vary between days. The least maximum loss would be in the day after expiry. For a sample l looked into a Friday long straddle for nifty I got 9000 as margin and max loss was around 900. So it’s 10%. This shouldn’t be for all Fridays.
