1:57 You put the strap for the pouch over the headrest bar. You would have to take the headrest off to get the pouch off the bar. This could make it difficult accessing things in the pouch while you're seated in the JX3 hybrid.
I have always just used the pouches in the fixed position. But yes you are correct. I essentially I used those pouches to put my ropes in and when I get to the tree I just take them out.
@@platinumpursuitoutdoors what I’m saying is the bridge is tough to connect when you have bulky gear on. When I noticed yours it’s a lot different than the one that came with mine.
Have you transitioned to using the JX3 from traditional saddles? I’m currently in the Tethrd Lockdown but these things keep popping up around every turn lol. They look nice. I got into saddles to be light and mobile. Is this a solid option or is it more comfort? Does it bridge the gap?
I have not transitioned. As a RUclipsr, I mess around with all of the gear. I hunted out of 9 Saddles last year. I think the JX3 Hybrid is in a class of its own. You really can’t compare it to an ultralight tree saddle, nor can you compare it to a tree stand. But I think in comfort it takes the cake.
So it may fill a slightly different niche? Want an all day hunt with a bit more weight but the convenience of hunting out of any tree, like a saddle? Then this is a good possible option. Want to hunt further in or only for a shorter hunt with minimum weight? Then a traditional saddle would be better. So having both in the arsenal is something to consider if the pocketbook allows this. @@platinumpursuitoutdoors
This is by far the best accessory I purchased for my JX3!
Sweet action!

Makes sense. Thanks for the JX3 content!@@platinumpursuitoutdoors
Yeppers and good eye!!
Good information. Quick question, have you ever SRT climbed with this saddle? Looking to possibly add this saddle to my tool box for all day hunts.
@jamiejudge2593 that I have not. I’m not too sure how it would work as far as stepping up goes. I’m sure it could be done just with some practice.
My headrest came with a bungee cord. It sux. I guess I need to upgrade mine to the new style.
Understand! Good luck
The JX3 works well with sticks, but are you able to rope climb in? I like to preset paracord loops and SRT or DRT climb to position.
I have never tried it but I can one stick climb in it so I don’t see why not.
Version 2 comes with an umbrella and space heater.
Hahahaha NICE!!
Are there D loops to attach a lineman’s rope ?
Yes there are lineman’s loops on the waist belt of the JX3.
Could you let me know the name of the seat bridge that you are using? The one that came with my JX3 Hybrid I’m not a huge fan of. Thank you in advance
This is the JX3
@@platinumpursuitoutdoors ok. Yeah the bridge with the hybrid isn’t very long or adjustable friendly.
@robertprice716 yeah you really don’t need to adjust it at all. Your tether provides the adjustments for this guy.

@@robertprice716 I gotcha. I misunderstood. Sorry.
I received an extra screw and Allen wrench that hasn't been shown in any videos that I've watched.
What is it for?
Is it so that you can install the tree fork?
The tree fork votes with a black know and it can be adjusted. This is a screw with a nut.
@johngibsonsfishing5115 I would have to see a pic. Connect with me on IG and send me a Pm if you can.
Would like to see a video on one sticking with a jxthree
It’s on my channel. Just did that two weeks ago
Look under my Everything JX3 Playlist
Thks
Would u happen to know the weight of just the jx3 without the headrest.....?
Right at 11lbs. I have a detailed video on them in my EVERYTHING JX3 Playlist.
Thanks brother.....

I think so! If you’re sitting all day and want comfort options… the JX3 is hard to beat!
What sticks do us
Just depends. I one stick clime, use the latitude sa and Tethrd one stick but also the JX3 sticks
La-Z-boy in a tree, I'm definitely ganna be taking a nap.
Hahaha I hear you!

I have several videos on my channel under the JX3 playlist that will show this.
