Get 3 step aids from them as well and now they are 34" each!

I made a couple of these for almost nothing. I used small plastic buckles instead of the 'fancy' titanium quick release but it does the same thing. Mine are not braided and as 'OEM' looking as these but the deer don't seem to mind. LOL Still a great design and very useful.

I had a 4 step made. It’s great and I’m on my second year with it. Highly recommend.

Thank you for the really informative video. Do you leave the backpack hooked to the backside of the JX3 when you ascend or do you pull it up with a rope? I would be worried that if I try to take off the backpack by reaching behind me it might fall off to the ground. Thanks!

I’m 6’2” 280lbs and these sticks are great. Foot room is a little tight but not uncomfortable. I would recommend just for the price alone. Super light and bite the tree good.

I just used it for the first time tonight... I was going to DIY it, but I figured after all the trial and error, I would just wish I had bought it. I got it on sale, so why not. I didn't even notice I was using it this afternoon. It didn't get in the way or anything. I DID notice when I removed it to climb down, how my saddle compressed/squeezed onto my hips.. This thing WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!

This truly is the best How To video! I bought an Amsteel Triad Bridge that arrives tomorrow and was clueless on exactly how I would need to install it. This was so descriptive and showed every step so precisely I feel very confident I can replicate while watching the video and installing my new bridge tomorrow! 😁 Thank you!!! I really like that style of bridge better as well!! The saddle kit I bought gave me a lineman, tether, and a 3rd rope to use as the “bridge” which to be any sort of comfortable I would have to cut down and melt the end off to shorten I don’t like the idea of that and would rather just save it to use if I need to replace my tether or lineman. So thank you thank you!!

Great job, no one addressed this …. I agree with the length. Absolutely no need for 40 feet, 30 “net” is just right for me.

This was a VERY in depth review of the X wing. I’ve hated the idea of ROS, but seeing it with this platform really changed my mind. What concerned me the most was if you could shoot 6 o’clock on this. I didn’t think you could with how small the actually foot platform is but you proved me wrong! To you and anyone that use this, I wear a size 12 boot, is this too small for someone like me? And how does it feel for all day sits with sitting/leaning?

I picked up a pair of trophy line knee pads 2 years ago for about 12 bucks! But they lasted about 5 all day sits before the foam completely wore out. And as far as I know they don't offer a foam replacement! I would buy 3 pair for a season at 12 bucks instead of spending 69. BUT I'd spend 69 if they lasted all year or offer cheep insert replacement. I used a pair of kobalt last year that was similar to the trophy line but they were like 17 bucks and lasted about the same before the foam flatted. I'd like to try a pair with harder plastic but am afraid of the noise they may make..... Would lover to see how the longevity of these two pads compare. I'll subscribe and wait for the next video!

Have you ever looked into the short bridge they sale on their website? Just curious if it be better for a thinner guy not needing the extra bridge length? Thanks for another video. First year with my jx3 so these videos really help!

One of the benefits, as I understand it, is the ability to use the tree as cover. If I anticipate deer coming in the direction of my easy shot (10 o'clock in your video), am I climbing and hanging as you are in the video? Or do I have the pole in between me and the target (10 o'clock) and then rotating for the shot? Hope the question makes sense. Thanks ahead of time for your reply.

I have the rebel. I notice the straps come into contact with the top bracket after toe camming. Have you noticed any wear on the straps at that contact point?

Just got my JX3. Im a committed summit user but wanted the versatility of a saddle but with comfort. How do you go about putting heavy layers on? Im thinking bibs on ground but was wondering if putting a jacket on in the with a jx3 is very hard? Thanks for the videos!

Great video I put my linesmen and tether under the seat straps while transporting. It frees up my two shoulder bags for other stuff. I also run the JX3 top stick and 3 Latitude sticks 1 with a 2 step aider and 2 with a single aider.

Really liked the video. Got my JX3 last fall after watching your review and have been practicing one-sticking with it this summer. I think it will be a great setup for me this fall. Didn't like the JX3 bridge, so I replaced it with a Amsteel bridge. It allows me to rotate much easier to reach down and grab the onestick. I'll be packing my outer clothes sandwiched into the JX3. Thanks for the video.

I would love to see you use the stick combo as a one stick set up I did it last year and would like to see if you had any advice as how you would do it

You make great videos. You should try one sticking like I do it. Watch (ONE STICKING). It's a new safer, easier, and quieter way to climb. Called the S.M.A.R.T. Method. (Stix Mechanical Advantage Rope Technique)
