I just used it for the first time tonight... I was going to DIY it, but I figured after all the trial and error, I would just wish I had bought it. I got it on sale, so why not. I didn't even notice I was using it this afternoon. It didn't get in the way or anything. I DID notice when I removed it to climb down, how my saddle compressed/squeezed onto my hips.. This thing WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!
Interesting solution to a problem most people have in the saddle. It’s cool to see concepts from the Kiting industry crossing over to saddle hunting, we need more of us thinking outside the box like that.
I bought some of these and gave them to my saddle hunting buddies as gifts. They really like them. I havent had the need for one myself, the padding in the timber ninja blackbelt is legit. But if i still had my tethrd menace i would have definitely kept one lol
@@platinumpursuitoutdoors I'd buy it on a flier at $29. Just seems there might be other DIY options. Otherwise I'd want to try someone else's for myself before buying at $40. I know it's just $10 but I'm already over my hunting budget for the year at this point :)
On my method 2 xl , if I put my hip bone between the straps, where it’s the most comfy, my legs go to sleep. So I raise that up my bum and it puts the strap on my hip bone. My hips stay sore in season, but hopefully not now with this. Got one back in July.
I don’t think so, because it sits at the top of your bridge loops and your hand mouth would be closer to your waist line. I know that when I use the hand muff from custom gear modifications it attaches to your bridge. There might be alternative ways of attaching your hand muff.
@@platinumpursuitoutdoors but to be fair it's the only one I've tried. But it's hard to find gear reviewers that are around my size (6'3" 240lbs) only one I've seen is privileged bow hunter.
Make your own out of old broom handle or something similar, saw a video of a guy who made one works great.
Cool DIY

Price point is too high. but it is a good concept.
What do you think it should be at?

Totally understand hunting on a budget! Lol
I’m sure this is great product for many with bulky kits, but Hunt Lyte saddles have zero hip pinch. Zero.
Nice!
Try a dryad drey. It's literally a hammock. It's not possible to be more comfortable. Especially for a big and tall man

Hey good luck! Keep me posted!
I wonder if this would hinder the ability to use a hand muff? I’ve got the Sitka incinerator muff.

Just get a dryad drey saddle.
It’s a good saddle.
