    I have the Hybrid and one JX3 stick with wide top. Love the saddle and the stick is rock solid!

    Great video, as always. You do a comprehensive review that always hits the important points. Thank you. Never used an aider myself. I’m looking at a three step aider for the bottom jx3 step. With a size 12.5 boot will the ultimaider provide enough stand-off or would you use another?

      Thx for the feedback. The ultimaider is a great aider. Very adjustable and would work great with the JX3 step

    You really should try the jx3 with the bottom platform from a climbing stand. I'll never go back to sticks unless it's a very specific tree.

      My problem is I hunt so many trees that have multiple limbs that makes it hard.

    I would love to see you use the stick combo as a one stick set up I did it last year and would like to see if you had any advice as how you would do it

      If I was to do that I would put a hearken cam cleat on it for sure. Other than that it would work like a regular one stick set up except you wouldn't be able to advance the tree as quickly.

    Love your vids. Thanks for the time you put in. You've sold me on the JX3 for next season. Hunted in a Summit Goliath for years. So comfort is still important for me. I like to get up around 20ft. Can you point me to a specific aider that works well with the JX3 steps? Thanks!

    Thanks for the great review. Do you know if the sticks still stack well on the hybrid if there are items wedged in between the back and the seat, such as extra clothes, coat, etc.? They would cause the folded edge to open up somewhat . Thanks

      You would use the leg straps to help hold the sticks on at that point.

    Another fantastic review video. Just wondering if you could tell me what the complete weight of your JX3 + the sticks and aiders all total together? I really like this setup and will probably use this next seeson. Side note, only guys over 40 say "Rad" lol make me smile evertime you say it. Lol I'm (49)

      Man I am in IA now. When I get back I can. The JX3 is 11 lbs.. so then add your stick weights.

    Great video. Do you feel like you could one stick with a JX3 and JX3 climbing stick ?-the one with the platform in particular. Or does the rope attachment method keep it from being a practical option?

    • @platinumpursuitoutdoors
      @platinumpursuitoutdoors  10 месяцев назад +1

      You definitely can. It isn’t as easy as it is with say a regular one stick, but it can be done.

    • @platinumpursuitoutdoors
      @platinumpursuitoutdoors  10 месяцев назад +2

      I think it would take practice like anything else, but you would be able to nail down a system for it for sure. I have thought about putting a cam cleat on the stick and doing it that way…

      Also, I’m not sure if you saw my last video on one stick climbing with the JX3, But check that out if you haven’t.

      Did you ever put a cam cleat on the stick? Thanks@@platinumpursuitoutdoors

      @beauhunter4769 I have not but thought about it for sure with the step that has the platform.

  • @beauhunter4769

    Do you think it would be better to add a harken cam cleat to it, rather than use the zig zag cleat?

    What cubicles? There's usual only one or two in Men's rooms.

    JX3 saddle just looks gimmicky as hell. Im sure its comfortable but shooting out of it has gotta be weird. Its the size of a climber and cant be nimble. I say just get a 2 panel and youre good

    • @platinumpursuitoutdoors
      @platinumpursuitoutdoors  10 месяцев назад +1

      I have has two panels, single panels, tree stands and climbers… this is a one of a kind. I have a video of shooting out of this JX3 that demonstrates the shot.

      I agree about the looks but I can assure that it pretty dang nimble and more comfortable than the others that I've tried. No problem at all shooting out of it and those sticks are the bomb. I have a method 2 and love it also. I reserve it for those days when I'm not sure where or how deep I'm going into the woods
