panther platform & JX3 awesome combo...platform sits where you pack everything else. I hang my normal walmart backpack on the front shoulder strap loops using the carabiners for tether/linesman. not so much weight on the back.
Really liked the video. Got my JX3 last fall after watching your review and have been practicing one-sticking with it this summer. I think it will be a great setup for me this fall. Didn't like the JX3 bridge, so I replaced it with a Amsteel bridge. It allows me to rotate much easier to reach down and grab the onestick. I'll be packing my outer clothes sandwiched into the JX3. Thanks for the video.
Great video I put my linesmen and tether under the seat straps while transporting. It frees up my two shoulder bags for other stuff. I also run the JX3 top stick and 3 Latitude sticks 1 with a 2 step aider and 2 with a single aider.
Once again nice job, love your videos.. I’d love to know what your summer time scouting consists of. Not sure if you’ve ever considered making a video of your routine and techniques. Just a thought! Thanks!
Thank you for the really informative video. Do you leave the backpack hooked to the backside of the JX3 when you ascend or do you pull it up with a rope? I would be worried that if I try to take off the backpack by reaching behind me it might fall off to the ground. Thanks!
You can do it either way. With the gear tie it becomes easier to attach and take off. I repel so I generally pull everything up once I’m in the tree stand.
Just got my JX3. Im a committed summit user but wanted the versatility of a saddle but with comfort. How do you go about putting heavy layers on? Im thinking bibs on ground but was wondering if putting a jacket on in the with a jx3 is very hard? Thanks for the videos!
Have you ever looked into the short bridge they sale on their website? Just curious if it be better for a thinner guy not needing the extra bridge length? Thanks for another video. First year with my jx3 so these videos really help!
@@douglasgillenwater5803 absolutely give me a little bit of time and I’ll try to do that. You can watch my other videos and I show you how to shoot around the tree that might help you out.
It varies. The Bullman ROS works great with the JX3 but so does the platform step from JX3. I have a video on how to shoot 360 with the JX3 and showcase that on there.
This was a great video on getting to the tree. But it seems more important to be able to put that coldweather clothing on while at height. Could you please demonstrate that!!!!!
For your jacket you can take off the shoulder straps and put on your coat. If you wanna put bibs on. You can simply undo your waist strap and leg straps and then slide your bibs on and work your way up. It’s recommended to put the bibs on while you’re on the ground.

I have thought about it, I just need more TIME 😁

When I put my backpack on my JX3 I use a 2’ peace of light strap and hook it to the JX3 with a carabiner just in case I drop it when removing it

So once you’re in the JX3 and in the tree you can undo your shoulder straps and put you jacket on and then put the straps back on if you wanted.

seems like a lot to deal with, and heavy why not a climber. but I'm watching these videos to learn about saddle hunting lol
It is equivalent to a climber in some regards in others it’s different.
