To me, no game is the same anymore. It's like after watching John Wick, other action movies can't compare. I've noticed action movies are now trying to use John Wick's formula in the way future games should borrow from this one.

I'd prefer a remake, Liberty City is just too small and is missing several iconic New York areas, like a Rikers Island and Staten Island. There's also a distinct lack of WTC monument. They mentioned that there was some kind of attack on the city, although I always assumed the Castle Gardens construction area was what was hit. It was either a park at one time, or the GTA equivalent of the WTC. I understand why they can't outright do anything regarding it, though.
The same thing happened with GTA 3 in 2001. Lots of stuff was completely overlooked upon as the WTC came down months prior to release. I think companies are afraid to accidentally offend anyone. Now, everything is fictionalized - fictional bands, celebrities, presidents, even whole US states. I actually wouldn't want a remake of the 3D universe games because some things just need to be left alone. What bothers me is the different universe thing. There was no reason for it despite the different maps. Retconning some minor things here and there would've worked better. But yeah, there's a lot more pressure on Rockstar because people are easily offended by GTA's content, when it's meant for adults anyway. Getting older makes you realize just how much the "controversies" have affected the creativity of the games. It's even bled into RDR2. I have faith GTA 6 won't be too badly affected by it because the humor and satire can't go wrong, what with it being a Florida setting.

This greatly reminds of the infamous Undead Nightmare DLC, in which, it is not the only music track that has this spooky horrific feeling to it. A wanted has that too. God I love Red Dead Redemption.
Because the GTA formula differs alot from RDR franchise. Ever since GTA 5, it's all about lootboxing, stupid mods and easy gameplay. Too much over the top hypeness, while the eye for detail and immersion get lost.@@CIAOFFlCAL

the only glory that came was in American Venom, and that is mirrored by the music for that mission being noticeably more heroic
