Arthur is able to see what he could not before he passed, his vision and mind clearer even as he’s dying. I might be overthinking it but it’s definitely an amazing detail to the story

He shortened the building progress by months by suggesting John to buy a pre-cut house. Uncle's the embodiment of 'work smart, not hard'. That's why I somehwat admire him
Let's just show the most respect for Charles. Dude literally took the time out of his life to help his friend to build an entire house from scratch and doesn't even complain about getting paid and leaves it for his friends to enjoy it
It was the moment I accepted John as the only protagonist deserving to follow after Arthur. I was like "get it dude, you deserve that happy life, just like Arthur wanted you to have". (RDR2 was my first game so I had no idea John was the main guy in RDR1)
The thing I love most about this sequence is how the characters come together and help each other. They're all pretty lost at this point in the game, Uncle aimlessly wandering Blackwater, Charles with his fighting career, and John without his family. So they build a lil house together, and for once theres no killing, no stealing. Just three men working in all sorts of weather building a house. It's as if, for once, things became normal for them. Reminds me of the scene in Shawshank Redemption where they got the beers. For once, they could pretend they were normal people.
I've found out over the years that Rockstar wants the players to do nothing but story missions back to back until the end of the game, which leaves you with free roam and the side missions to flesh out the world around us.
Columbo there is something new but it’s just your boring battle royale mode that every game has, and it’s also shit. I understand it’s a beta but it really is boring and they need to add dlcs quick before it loses all its player base
I originally put off playing the epilogue for a couple months and realized what a mistake that was after completing it. It really completes the game in such a wonderful way
I love the subtitle detail that John gets better at hammering nails throughout the song. Like the first 45 seconds it take 4 to 5 hits. Than over time he shaves it down to 3 than 2 it’s a nice detail

L.A. Norie is a great game. Different pacing and structure than other Rockstar Games but definitely worth playing. Really captures the era. Play the DLC as well, has a very memorable case/mission.
For some reason this was my favorite mission, it was just so relaxing and I got to see gang members bond over something that wasn’t fighting. It was just a relaxing and peaceful mission

im replaying the game on pc for the first time since ps4 in 2018 and i dreaded doing the Downes debt collection mission. the thought that you kinda realize hes the one that got Arthur sick makes me feel like i could avoid it. i tried to threaten him for about 10 minutes before robbing him so i wouldnt touch him

@@segwaysammy2783 I think an eagle is also a possibility. As for the Blue Jay, I think its more about symbolism. There is a lot of lore about spirits of deceased loves ones visiting people as birds. Blue is Arthurs signature color, it just sort of fits. Its unlikely that a Blue Jay would get so close to humans, especially with all that construction noise.
My pops died earlier this year due to cancer, he was one hell of a carpenter according to everyone on in our family. My parents how they got majority of their money was through flipping houses. and I remember as a kid we'd constantly move from house to house. All the time Dad would make the house beautiful and then we'll stay in it for a month, then on to the next almost condemned house. Keep repeating that pattern up until March 2020. The doctors caught his cancer late and he died with this house we're in now half finished. So I gather a couple of my buddies to help me finish what my pops started. when I finished RDR2 this song reminded me so much of him that I just had to listen to it daily -almost as a ritual- as if it's my dad saying "Hey I'm with ya keep building!" I've found out over the years that Rockstar wants the players to do nothing but story missions back to back until the end of the game, which leaves you with free roam and the side missions to flesh out the world around us.
When one of the best moments in a action game is a house building sequence, you know you are playing a GOOD game.

@@segwaysammy2783 I think an eagle is also a possibility. As for the Blue Jay, I think its more about symbolism. There is a lot of lore about spirits of deceased loves ones visiting people as birds. Blue is Arthurs signature color, it just sort of fits. Its unlikely that a Blue Jay would get so close to humans, especially with all that construction noise.

This was the most dynamic duo, It reflects how much fun you can have bonding with friends.
My pops died earlier this year due to cancer, he was one hell of a carpenter according to everyone on in our family. My parents how they got majority of their money was through flipping houses. and I remember as a kid we'd constantly move from house to house. All the time Dad would make the house beautiful and then we'll stay in it for a month, then on to the next almost condemned house. Keep repeating that pattern up until March 2020. The doctors caught his cancer late and he died with this house we're in now half finished. So I gather a couple of my buddies to help me finish what my pops started. when I finished RDR2 this song reminded me so much of him that I just had to listen to it daily -almost as a ritual- as if it's my dad saying "Hey I'm with ya keep building!" Thanks for the awesome song and story R*
