To be fair, people weren't upset because you didn't dogpile him. People were annoyed because instead of saying "we don't know" and moving on, you spent time and effort building these elaborate fanfic scenarios of how he could be innocent while lacking any meaningful information. That's never a good look when someone in power is accused of misdeeds (especially this misdeed). Worst case it's defending them without actually defending them, best case it's contributing to the same toxic evidence-free discourse you're criticizing. Plus you did not put anywhere near the equivalent effort in the opposite direction. Not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, nobody bats a hundred.

You guys are wrong. If you are in your 20s and in the dating game, you ALWAYS have to ask for age. I’ve known people in hs who looked 35 and were still minors. You’ll get some Mike Tyson’s; some Chris Farley’s, your Michael Jordan’s and your Tom Hollands all in one basket. One kid was built like Arnold at age 16 and another kid was 17yo looking 30.
