I know there are real eyes behind a lot of social media platforms. I had a friend who used to work at a department in Google that had to watch and flag potentially harmful and/or dangerous videos that people upload. And a few friends saw some really fucked up shit. Same goes with Facebook since Facebook also has video uploads. There's a lot of legality and private confidentiality behind these positions, but some times too much is TOO MUCH.

why is it so hard for fans of streamers to realize that we don't actually know streamers personally. we just go on twitch for dopamine, we have no actual connection to big streamers or any reason to care so much about their personal lives. we dont need to idolize them or defend or attack people so intensely. we can be quiet sometimes
that being said, advocating for human safety (as with this situation) is very important and something that fan support can help bring attention to
