I've been fishing and flyfishing out of canoes and a few kayaks for decades. I WISH I had seen this while you still made them!! I guess I'll craigslist search for awhile...I know it's a highly niche demographic, probably not enough to sustain sales for this model...but still, how very cool to have something open and stable and specific like that.

I've had a mayfly for about 3 months now and have been fishing the heck out of it, great boat. Thanks for the cool walk through. I just learned about a couple features that I didn't even know I had!

Thanks! By far the best mayfly walk through I've seen! Very excited to get my Mayfly back on the water soon!

Love the lay out. Considering one of these for myself. My Hobie is nice but not fly friendly. Thanks for sharing.

I like it! ...looks like a very nice fly fishing kayak.. My only question or concern is it appears this kayak is only suitable for very calm water or 10,000 islands in south florida or deep south, inland flats, swamp land, smooth slick water only... Does the hull easily fill up with water when navigating rivers that have class I or II rapids in Idaho/Montana ? ...when fishing in 1 foot swells or class II rapids will the hull become water logged ? Can't tell from video but appears hull could easily fill with water when waves cap over top... Please advise.

I just purchased this boat.. I disagree with some of the hype it is receiving.
First of, I do like this Kayak, sorry for the negative, just giving some honest feedback.
    1. The stability is not what they are claiming, at least not for a guy over 6ft and 250lbs. You will need to find your comfort balance and will have very limited mobility. Make sure you have the Assist strap.. you will need it.
    2. The inside of the kayak fills with water (through the base holes) when you stand.
    3. I can’t imagine this boat on any moving water. I guess if you don’t mind all things getting wet.
    4. The access to the front storage is not easy.. forget getting to the rear storage.
    5. Seat is very comfortable!
    6. Boat handles and tracks like a dream!
    7. The rod holder that comes with the boat is a joke. Cup holder is cool though!
    8. Careful with the rod storage slide in. It is not good on your guides.
    9. You will need help moving boat. It’s not brutal heavy, but vey awkward. A trolley etc works great.
Hope this helps someone with a broader view of the Mayfly. I am stratified with my purchase, but I do think it is a bit over-rated.
That said, I am not an expert on Kayak’s.
    Tight lines!

Looked on their website and it's nowhere to be found. Do they still make this in 2022?

Do the transducer scuppers only fit Raymarine Dragonfly transducers or do they work with all Raymarine transducers?

It’s a premium kayak. If you can’t afford it don’t buy it.
