I’m not sure, I’ve owned AirPods Pro but I may buy the AirPods Pro max, this year to try them out, and see how the Spatial Audio works… but I won’t use them as often as I use my current gen 2 AirPods Pro, since I use those at work, since I can only have one AirPod in my ear, while working…

Never could shell out 600 to buy the AirPods Max. The bose quiet comfort ultra are less money with stellar quality. I have been just using my AirPods Pro 2
Sonos just dropped their headphones which definitely is a child on APM and XM5. Best looking headphone on the market rn and I think they perform better than APM in every way.

I have both. AirPods Max are louder, the NC is better, and the spatial sound is also better.

I really wish if they could have a price drop with some sort of IP rating and new colours as they are on my wishlist for years...
loved these but everytime I got a pair they lasted about 2 months before faulting. Amazon sent me 3 pairs before they just refunding me. I don't know if the condensation problem has been sorted since the first few batches but if these don't fault under long usages then i'm interested
mine died after two years probably for the same reason. A shame because I thought they were excellent sound wise and build quality.
@@s1alker564 oh yeah they was unbelievable when working! Sound quality and noise cancelling was first class. Which was why I was genuinely frustrated when they kept faulting. First time I thought I was just unlucky and Amazon replaced them quickly but then when it happened to the second pair I became worried they was some kind of design fault with them. And then when the third pair went even Amazon was like “look at this point we are just going to refund you and not send anymore” I’m a software engineer so I use them for most of the day and I have a feeling the condensation was building up in the day and messing with the internal electronics.
As I say, if these new ones address that (because it wasn’t just me it was happening to) then I’d absolutely without hesitation buy the next release of them

It went 6 years for Apple to upgrade the Mac Pro from the trashcan to the towermodel. That is a long time. For a pair of headphones? How much happens on that field? The biggest reason they are releasing a new model with USB-C is probably because they will not be allowed to sell them in the EU in the end of 2024. Apple doesn’t support any version of AptX or Ldac on iPhone, so you are limited to AAC when you use Bluetooth. Yes, Airpods Max doesn’t support anything else than AAC either, but with Apple’s approach I don’t see them supporting something from another developer.
I mean, I’m curious about the AirPods Max two but I think the first generation is still fine and I mean I have them and they work perfectly fine and I don’t think it’s worth upgrading so I mean it’s probably just a waste.
You hit it on the head! The new case isn’t important. Putting it in the case to turn it off is important.
Not advocating for Apple at all but for anyone who bought these for $550 I think they would agree that they would pay the same price for the refreshed ones. Personally I’ve had mine since launch and they are stupid durable and their ANC and transparency is the best I’ve ever experienced.

Honestly, in all reviews I’ve seen the AirPods Max often are considered the best alongside the Sony WH-1000XM5. But the ones from Sony makes you look like a construction worker. I’m really looking forward to the new ones from Apple.

I hope I win this AMAZING giveaway!! Thank you for generously offering that opportunity. I must admit I’m surprised it’s taken this long for an updated version. I wonder the reason for that, here’s hoping it’s going to be because they’ve done quite a bit of changes. As far as our personal opinion you’ve asked us to give…while I agree and hope the price point goes down on the next version, I’ll admit it will be a bit frustrating for those of us who’ve paid the $550 price to ultimately and seemingly have a better version (especially hopeful they update that garbage case!) for a lower price after waiting 4 years! That’s quite aggravating. Especially since the value of the original will probably take a nose dive as well. So that’s a real slap in the face for everyone who made the investment in the original

No thanks price is too crazy they are heavy, and battery not that good. For non-work listening I use either my AirPod Pro 2 or for over the ear headphones I like the Beats. The Beats sound basically the same, lighter, and 40 hour battery charge. Even with a greatly reduced price I don't see myself buying AirPods MAX.

I know a feature I would like to see, make them work!! That would be good, make them connect, not lose sound, not lose connection, oh and brick after less than one month. Mine are less than 3 months old and they have been sent back to apple for the third time - that's once a month, good job Apple. Waste of money - Sony Wh1000-xm5's are better - better sound, they play lossless, hi res lossless and Dolby spacial audio oh and they work, wow!! Plus a graphic equalizer that you can tweak to your hears content. I'm sick of taking mine back to the Apple Store and having them lie that problems are rare - as 20 people line up with bricked AirPods Max

$550 for headphones is a total no go for most sane people. I’ll stick with the beats
I have the APmax and a few other same category of headphones. I use them all..and I will say despite the flaws of the APM (such as the saggy headband net after 2 years, fixed by a under £10 silicon support on amazon) it must be noted the others may excel the APM in individual categories such as sound and ANC, comfort, but as an overall set that does all categories very well (even if not excels) the APM ticks the boxes (especially on Apple TV) I would purchase again at the same price point to be sincere.
Wireless headphones can’t do lossless music it can barely do mp3 quality music
This was true 10 years ago. But at this point its a misconception that is just flat out wrong. Its as if youre saying a photo will never look as good as a painting. The technology is there, it just hasnt been widely adopted yet.
Like when cameras were invented the quality was worse than a painting of a portrait. But eventually the tech advanced to where painting of portraits became obsolete. The story of wireless audio is similar.
