I don’t understand the instructions. And at one point I can’t tell if you’re pressing one button or both at the same time. The video also skips right before the apple logo came up. How long did you hold before that happened?

Thank you so much indian guy lol. ok for the people that think it doesnt work im not abot so im gonna be honest here. i tought the instructions were very unclear but this is what i did. i got my apple watch on the charger and then pressed the crown button a few times for 1 minute or so. then did it again with the power button. it didnt work. then i read some comment that said that you have to put the apple watch on the charger and pres the crown button and the power button at the same time and hold them for 15 seconds. after that you have to leave your apple watch for 5 minutes or so and then it will turn back on. i tried that and it worked! thanks so much again i had a heart attack thinking i had to pay 300 bucks.

I tried this over and over again, I thought my watch would NEVER come on. I continued pushing the buttons over and over again and finally it came on! I’ve never been so happy to see that apple in my life!

I like others had difficulties understanding the exact steps. So I went back and followed everything you did in the video exactly. Can’t believe it worked! I have a brand new Watch 7 that came out of e box with the green/red snake! I didn’t have to return it!

2/26/19 OMG Guys it does work!!! You just have to wait a couple seconds after you do the reset!
I had the green snake when the watch was on the charger.. i pressed and hold both the round button and the ON button for about 15 sec and then let go (the screen turned on with the green snake while i was doing it about 3 times)
I a couple seconds and the apple logo appeared and the watch started the set up😂😍😍😁😁😁😁😁

Idk, my Apple Watch 0 (2015) was fine when the Series 2, 3, and 4 came out. It’s only now just starting to slow down and have battery problems. And I’m impressed it’s lived this long; it’s been with me through an iPhone 5C and an iPhone SE, only just now needing to be replaced as I’m about to get an iPhone XR.
The timing for my Watch 0 to die is actually pretty good because the 4 and 5 have the bigger screens with iPhone X-style curved corners, and the 5 specifically has an always-on display

I see you holding side buttons but you are not saying What button? It looks like you are hold both but say to only hold 1? Also it looks like you are using a Tablet Charger....to power up the watch but you don't say that.....and THAT is the key to wake up watch.....Apple Told me That.....

It somehow worked for me！ I don’t need to wait a few days to wait my Apple Watch dies... thank god... after following the instruction, the screen of my Apple Watch changed from the snake thing to the screen that have the time and the charging logo. Afterwards, I put my watch back to the charging dock of awhile, and it suddenly turned to an Apple logo. So I try to press those two button to restart it. And now, my Apple Watch comes back to life 😍😍😍 thank you

It works very well. Just hold the crown for about 15 to 30 seconds not the power button. Make sure it’s on the charger.

It worked I did it like 5 times being impatient at first then just let it sit on the charger plugged to the wall and I think like 10 mins of leaving it there the apple sign popped up and it’s on back to the original state charging like normal
