The reset works. I was having issues with the watch disconnecting from the charger over and over. Turned the watch off and placed it on charger, haven’t had anymore issues.
Apple needs to do 1 battery replacement on all Apple Watches the battery dies to easy. Even if you just use it in an office environment and not get it exposed to the elements. Surprised they haven’t had a lawsuit yet.
The one unbelievable tip you gave was remove the protective tape from the charger. My series 3 charged fine for a few months, but then started to get intermittent. I thought maybe the USB on my computer did not have the wattage so I went to a USB wall charger. Seemed to be better, but still intermittent. Watched your video and sure enough the protective tape was still on the charger head. Is this addressed in the startup guide? Because I missed it. Tape off, watch charging, Thanks
omg sorry but this is such a helpful video my watch kept charging and unchanging while still the charger was on the watch so i switch the charger to another outlet and it worked sorry if this doesn’t make sense haha but thank you anyway

Talk out junk products, these things are not cheap even the so-called cheap ones, bought an SE watch for my wife and it won't charge, and it does not do the forced restart thing. It is only 4 months old i managed to get the thing to charge a month ago and now it's worse. She keeps spending my money on unreliable apple con products, her phone always has trouble charging so she buys genuine junk cables and power adaptors, this is a continuous money pit. Here you are saying try different power outlets, wipe the faces clean and wiggle the plug. How about they make a decent product and all you fan boys stop make excuses and guess work videos.

My usb C 100watt output should be enough, right? but you would be wrong it appears young can't charge a piece of crap.
