I have a 77 CJ7 with a 304 V8. That is without a doubt a 258. And I saw no locker in the front. With that said, I absolutely LOVE watching cj’s pulling new wranglers out!!!!

My '85 same color, run a built 5.0 Mustang, race spec T5, gears, on board air, works great for sand with lower air pressure in tires.

What lift springs were you running with? They look pretty soft.

It has a 4-1/2" Trailmaster lift. Springs are soft but the shocks very stiff.

34 x 10.50 tire on a 15 x 8 wheel. Tucks into the fenders at full flex with no rubbing. 4-1/2 inch lift
