Another top vid. I like how all your adventures are just 'the common man' type stuff. Ya dont need all the top rated gear, illegal height vehicles and massive sponsorships to get out and have a good time. And you dont need a gimmick to draw the viewers. Keep up the good work pal.
more great content mate, love it. Some wicked little water crossings. Daughter and I will be up there mid Nov ‘23 - hopefully we can find that elevated campsite - man that looked cool👌
Loved the video Shad, really well put together. Nice part of the world and worth waiting for it to hit the editing suite. Must have been the Toyota club that weekend + a Jeep.
We really like this little loop. Have done it a few times just as a day trip. Gibraltar Rock is always a top spot having some dinner watching the sun go down.
Thanks for watching mate , it not too bad on the brakes for the manual vehicles but yeah the auto one cop it a bit. Won’t be long now and it will warm up a bit 👍👍
Great video! What is the steam that shoots out of the Prado's wheels at the 4 minute mark? Is that cold water on hot brakes? Was that creek at the bottom of a long downhill?
Cracker video guys! its made me want to head out to cox river this weekend and give it a try usually hike it out from megalong road. Do you guys head down cox river road, then glen chee onto six foot track?
Hey just stumbled across this video, do U think it's possible to do this trip in a day. PS have subscribed will enjoy watching Ur adventures and planning some of my own based on Ur vids, keep up the great work
That's crazy! I was here not lomg ago too.. did you walk down the track that kept going after the camp spot.. looks like fun, we had to be back in Penrith at a certain time so we left it for another day 😂
I went down to the Six foot track in February about 5 years ago, there were red bellies everywhere. Walked the bridge and then got out of there. It’s a really cool bridge to walk across. How did you go with one hand on the rope and the other with a camera in hand 😂 A little sketchy haha. Awesome campsite 👍 What a view!
I remember hiking it a while ago and between the bridge and the campground i seen 6 red bellies, i was getting nervous hey 😂😂. The walk out was a bit sketchy one handed 😂😂
Another great clip mate, top stuff and I’ll definitely get up and check out the 6 foot track. I always thought it was pretty much just a walking track only 🤣😉 And old mate in the 76, did he own a silver Mitsubishi Challenger before ? Pretty sure he was at the 2018 DFCE with us … cheers and keep up the good work bud
some interesting switchbacks on the way down to that last crossing and dry weather only ruts on the way up to the track that goes to the look out also quite steep . was there today
Just found this video when doing some searching on the six foot track. Could I ask a question please. I see a track down by the Cox River Campground that goes south and eventually crosses the Cox and joins up with Black Jerry Ridge Rd and out to Megalong Rd - is there access through that way do you know? On motorbikes. Thanks.
@@shaddonaghue I thought so - just wanted to check with someone who would know. Looking to do some exploring up in the Blue Mtns - so it's probably not the last question your gonna get from me! Thanks.
Probably not a lift kit depending on vehicle but this video was a couple of years ago and track conditions can change. Best access is coxs river rd First left after the lolly bug on the great western hwy
Great video Shad, always improving. A bit of everything, a few vehicles, different setups, some cooking, great locations to walk and camp. Gotta love it. By the way, where the hell is that elevated 2nd camp site. Is that around the paragliding location or something near Alum Creek?
@@michaelkeenan6668 we were on black range for a while , mini mini runs parralell to it but more north , tracks in there everywhere and i don’t know the name, just drive around 😂😂
Okay, I found the Mini Mini Rd quite a ways to the west of Alum Creek. You are right there are a hell of a lot of trails in that area. Worth a look in the future. Keep up the good work with the videos Shad.
Depends on car and camper , could definitely do 6 foot track but not much room to turn around at the bottom where we went for the walk. Thanks for watching
You don’t have too drop them but its definitely better for a lot of reasons, more traction, more comfortable in car and less chances of a punture. Thanks for watching

100% agree, it doesn’t need to be lifted, locked and sponsored to get you out and about to enjoy the great outdoors this country is to offer.
