No i haven’t tryed it yet , im building up the courage to. I’ve heard they are good especially out of a clean river like this one. Do you fillet and how do you cook it ?

Go to Sofala and there’s endless spots along the river there. Is my plan for our van, gunna take shyte loads of water and wood and park up for a coupla weeks 🤘🤘

Thanks Marg , we really appreciate it , hope you had a great trip. Its on crown land. Yes , we don’t show in the ultimate much so thought we would out that in, its great to have a spot inside out if the weather sometimes.

@@shaddonaghue Looks very comfy inside. I remember a long time ago seeing one back in our tenting days at a show and thought it would be wonderful. I can't remember but does it have a toilet under one of the seats and a shower outside? The Ultimate definitely allows you to get to more challenging campsites. With regards to the where you camped, being Crown Land, is it open to all? Cheers Marg

@ There is a cupboard that opens from the outside and the inside that designed to store a portable toilet and you can drag it inside or out up to you really. No shower inside, there was an option for hot water and outside shower when we bought it but we didn’t get it. The new ones now are much fancier so who knows.

Yeah its to do both of those plus its a wind barrier which helps burn less wood. Its also a great place to hang all my pans and grills etc. sitting in front of that in the cooler months is pretty awesome actually. Thanks for watching

Yeah , i have caught a couple there before but not this time . Water is really low so hopefully we get some rain soon.

Lately i have just been using the jumbuck charcoal from bunning because thats all i can get , sometimes i throw a few heat beads in as well and run a mix.

Cheers mate, yes complete opposite here, at home we have had a few days 39c so pretty warm and the nights have been staying warm too. That was a great spot and the buzzing you hear are cicadas, very bad this year. We need some rain soon or there won’t be any swimming soon 🤠. Thanks heaps for tuning in 👍

We are using just corn kernels from a tin to catch the carp , as far as the best place to go , well any where around there is good. Wallaby rocks , coles bridge, ration point and there are lots of spots inbetween all those. Lots i still haven’t been too. The bridle tk is also good

@ bridle track goes pretty good, and you can move along the bridle track to the turon if your having no luck. Most of those campsites have a pretty decent fishing hole in them
