Kanangra-Boyd National Park is a really nice place, I've been there a couple of times, but it definitely suffers from a lot of closures during poor weather. The Colong Stock Route out to Yerranderie is a really nice drive.

It’s funny that old mate said he felt eerie in the Mt Werong Hut. My wife and I planned to camp there a couple years back, pulled up mid arvo and walked through the hut and both had a feeling like we had to get out of there. We ended up trekking back to Dingo Dell for the night.

I use gaia maps , the free version on my phone. It also has a lot of walking tracks which is handy. This spot was pure fluke and we also ran into the ranger who told us about it. Most places we find are just from exploring though. Thanks for tuning in

@@shaddonaghue . WE need to push for a user pays system and keep areas open to recreation use . It will sustain itself and create revenue for businesses to stay viable which is under threat right now . The government have a golden egg staring them in the face but refuse to act on it rather just lock it up for a bit of moral high ground to appease the green run np and green community who nothing to actually support these areas . Start getting signatures . all the channels need to do it or ya hobbies finished . a user pays system will quickly expose the shit cunts leaving garbage everywhere cause they shouldn`t be there in the first place if they havn`t booked . its restrictive but better than nothing and it works for hunters .
