PCV Valve Honda Civic after 15 years and 27 oil changes....still good?

I change out the original PCV valve on the 2008 Honda Civic. The CEL has never come on and the engine is not idling as smooth as it should, so why not R&R something. The PCV valve is cheap and easy to replace.

Did the car run better after you changed to new one? Or idle normal?

Before I changed it out, my Civic would just about die at a stop light. After I installed the new one, it now runs at idle much stronger, no wanting to lay down.
