Your tips of using a long flathead to place the washer, and using a paper towel to secure the PCV valve to the socket was VERY helpful. Appreciate you

You don’t need to remove any shroud ,it’s a little tight with a deep socket but I was able to remove the Pcv valve just make sure you lube the hose inside with some wd40 for easier installation, also replace the gasket crush washer which is the same part number as the oil drain plug also use the factory Pcv as these valves are specifically calibrated for proper airflow instead of those autozone ,Oreileys Chinese parts

Good job ! This area is very tight and good idea to lube the hose but I prefer use silicone spray with rubber hose... thanks for watching and sharing your experience

Does it matter which way the washer goes? Round side up or down?

good lord buddy... 4 12mm and 5 10mm bolts would have had that support out without needing to cut anything

Or you could of took the few bolts out and removed the cowl support instead of cutting it 😂
