Im a cement truck driver so I'm around concrete all day .....anybody got a suggestion for some boots?...leather gets frayed quick because of the concrete....the rubber on these get hot in the summer.

I'm a long time guitar player and had the release surgery done on my left ring and pinky fingers about 8 weeks ago. I have similar stiffness issues and do the same thing on my steering wheel. The two knuckles remain very sore and I get soem strange sharp pains every once in a while. The worst post-op effect is that sometime I can be doing the easiest picking up of something small and light and I will get a nerve jolt through my whole body. My OT says its probably swelling tendons on the nerves, but shes not certain. I didnt expect the recovery to take so long and seeing that you are still not 100% after a year is concerning! I can play guitar agian, but I dont have the stamina I had even when they were triggering.

If you own a 2013 to 2024 and it’s not deleted then you’re not right in the head. You get maybe 21mpg with a 4wd 2500 crew cab stock . Deleted you get almost 37 mpg Don’t gotta be a rocket scientist to figure that one out

I got a NOX fault code. Had it replaced at 139000 after recall at 137000. They claim they will reimburse me 630.00. I’ll update when that happens.

I had the exact same with email and letter same day. Not doing the update. They're releasing NO DETAILS and they clearly have concerns over the effect the update will have on the DEF injection system and the SCR... I will tell you I was forced to do my Cummins fleet at my office and since the update on them - 2016 through 2019 trucks - and we are consuming DEF at comparably outrageous rates! Our 2019 was crippled by the update, and out of service (and revenue generation) for 5 weeks arguing about what caused it!!! I'm sorry, but this is also a governmental abuse because if you read what categorizes as a "safety recall," this is not it based on what little information is being shared with the public.

I worked at dealerships as a teen. Once a vehicle is used, even if only a few months old, it’s considered a POS. Service centers want nothing more than to turn & burn oil changes using rookie techs.

I have a 2018 with 50,000 miles. I have no plan to comply with the recall. I read too many reports of owners leaving the dealer post recall with the CEL on and the dealers merely shrugging their shoulders.

I don't have Leaf Filter or anything like that, but I did put new replacement windows in my house about a year or so after buying it back in 2004, so that was a LONG time ago. I did the "usual" research, and got four or five estimates from different companies (of which, obviously, there are TONS to choose from). One company in particular was one who advertised heavily here in the Cleveland area. They had these hokey commercials featuring Mike, "the owner" and the company was called Regency Windows. In retrospect, I realized that simply based on their insulting, attempting to be "funny and entertaining" commercials, I should have known better. In fact, they went out of business or simply changed their name a few years after I got my windows replaced, because they all of a sudden disappeared. They were the last company that came out to give me an estimate. Long story, the other four companies had sales people come out, and they were nice and professional and not pushy at all. I have a modest home and one or two even said to me, in a very NON insulting way, that the less expensive windows would be fine for my house and in my area. Not so much with the Regency company. Regency's guy? LOL. I'm NOT exaggerating one iota when I tell you he insulted my intelligence and actually got aggressive when I finally, after TWO AND A HALF HOURS of telling him I'm still looking and deciding (he was in my house literally one minute when I made it very clear I'm still getting estimates and wouldn't be making a decision that evening) on what company to go with and he swore at me under his breath and i had to threaten to physically throw him out. I almost had to call the cops and I'm dead serious. He wouldn't leave. He also went with the "let me all my boss" line and went out into the driveway and purposely talked loud enough so I could hear the conversation. I have ZERO doubt he was talking to no one. I do NOT trust any of these people. NONE of them. SUPER high pressure sales tactics and he AND his boss had the balls to call me the next day. I went wit a different company and saved half the money, and learned a valuable lesson; never, ever have anyone start a BS presentation in your home. I've had two other things done since then and the minute I sense it's going to be more than a fifteen minute estimate and it's going to transfer into some two hours long, rehearsed presentation - I cut them off and tell them they have ten minutes. I'll NEVER get roped into anything like that again. Never. Give me an estimate, you have ten or fifteen minutes, and keep the miniature "sample" windows and/or anything else in the company vehicle. I am not interested in seeing it.

I have two springs draining off my hill in My back yard. Every time it rains there is a swamp off my back porch. Just cut my hill back from my house 35 feet and tapped into both of the springs. Brought in a lot of 57 stone and poured a 1x2 footer, built a 5 foot retaining wall on top and a two layered double french drain. All 6" pipe to catch spring water and run off. Flattened out my hill above the retaining wall to slow the flow off the hill, and built a drain into my patio. All that to say I wish I would have put a sump in at one end. Also to say....man, you have a lot of WATER around your house and I can relate to how much work it is when working in solid clay.

To all those with gutters, pay someone to clean them as needed.

I always service my equipment on time. That being said I swore in the manual it said do not change it before 500 hours. We'll I was wrong it was 100 hours and I now have 200 hours on my 2018. The oil looks and smells perfect still.

What is rarely mentioned is that *pitch* is what makes the micromesh filters work-they *must* be at the same pitch as the roof. Debris will get blown off the filters by the wind. Laying them flat creates a shelf that collects seeds and leaves,and blocks the gutter.

doesnt matter trust me - mine was always full too and never burnt a drop - always changed the oil at either 5-7,000 miles and the engine still spun a bearing OUT OF NOWHERE! Currently getting a new engine on Hyundai's dime.

I go every 40k miles with the transfer case fluid get a guarantee that it’s dirty and ready to be changed

A Leaffilter guy came out to my house... eventually going from like $16,000 all the way down to just under $3,000 for my 180lf of gutter. That's a $13,000 difference. What crooks! I sent him on his way with a "you must be smoking crack" and bought the metal Amerimax (black) lock-in Gutter Guards (from Amazon) for like $229. A diy job, but well worth not getting taken to the cleaners by this scam company. And they work fine for what I need them to do, keeping out the larger stuff. Just think of how many old folks, like widows, they've ripped off, old ladies who are thinking they are getting a "deal" when the salesman comes down to around $8,000 by "applying coupons" and the "seniors discount". This company should be SHUT DOWN for their unscrupulous shady business practices.

Anyone using Amsoil Muti synthetic or Polymer grease? I never see any videos on their grease. I also seen Prolube Extreme really pushing their grease and Triax Spheron , anyone tried those?
